If the truth be told, it is Cuba who got the prize. It takes a strong woman, to deal with his celebrity status, and take care of the family. I commend him for staying with the woman who has always lovedhim unconditionally and has been there for him. May God continue to bless their marriage.

The black women has been faithful to the black family for a long time, only dating and marrying the black man. While the black man marries outside his race most of the time. But I am seeing alot more black women dating outside of there race, but now the black man is mad when she does it,but he been doing the damn thang for years.

Read what I wrote again. Is there anything in what I wrote to even remotely imply anthing other than the words you read. Any woman, whatever her phenotype, is “lovely” according to the way she carries herself, her character, her loveliness and are evident in many ways very few of them having to do with her physical characteristics. One “lovely” attribute would certainly be the grace with which she speaks of others. I think you know I spoke of women period. I do not know Mrs. Gooding personally, but any woman should be regarded in the light of these qualities and nothing else. Wouldn’t you agree? Surely you would not want someone to reduce the sum total of your femininity or relationship with your husband, from a mere photo at that, to the tone of your skin or any of your other physical characteristics. I am saying that Cuba Gooding’s wife’s phenotype or any woman’s phenotype including her hair, skin tone, weight,… and the rest of the list should not be a reason why I, you, or anyone else, ill speaks that woman or her choice of husband. The fact that Rosa spoke so disrespectfully of a woman she has never met, or that some other contributors to this blog, derided her with various comments, points more to their own biases, insecurities, and in a few cases, molding from an unfortunate racial dynamic in this country, than to any knowledge of Mrs. Gooding’s life or character.

Cuba seems as if he is an easy guy to get along with. I really do not know much about him, but what I see. He seems so polite and well reared. He could be something else otherwise. I think I could handle him no matter what. Oh, by the way, his wife got the prize, a leading brotha, who seems to be well together all around.

Sistas date mostly inside their race because that is what they are attracted to and feel comfortable with. All brothers are not bad. All brothers do not date outside of their race. People need to get out more,and stop generalizing. I believe individuals should not follow what others do and say, be yourselves; live, laugh, and love who you feel comfortable with.

I too married a man in which I went to elementary School with.
And now we’re 47 & 48yrs young and have been married going on 26yrs with two grown sons both in the Airforce.
The key is, KEEP PEOPLE OUT OF YOUR BUSINESS/MARRIAGE. What goes on in your Home should Stay in your Home.!! You dont see Mrs. Cuba all in the media telling shyt do you? Just like Denzels wife, Ice Cubes wife nor did we see Michael Jordans EX wife all in the media. The more you’re in the spot light running your mouth the more drama will come you way to help destroy your marriage.
