Tiger your dad would be proud of you and you lovely family…you are excellent plus you put golf-a boring game to many people- on the map.
Nice family.
THATS A NICE MIXTURE OF RACES
Especially since he is more asian than black. Is there an ACK?
it’s wierd how even amongst the black community, the one drop rule applies. tiger woods is half asian and only a quarter black, making his kid only an eighth black. even woods’ religion, buddhism, reflect his azn culture. it’s cool that ppl are so willing to acknowledge and accept that part of his heritage, but we shouldnt ignore his predominantly azn heritage just bc this nation can only see in terms of black and white.
The baby looks like Woods..
@jess
How is the one drop rule being applied to tiger woods et al? Is it because he and his family are being featured on a website titled “Black celebrity kids”? Why? He has always been open about his multi-racial background. I’ll gladly be corrected if I’m wrong, but he included African American. No one on this thread, so far, has referred to him as totally black. In fact, a previous commenter mentioned that he was more asian than anything, and yet another replied “what a nice mixture of races”. Moreover, the vast majority of all celebrity families showcased on this site are only of a partial african heritage. Why should Tiger be excluded, are we going by blood quanta now? Your stance makes no sense in this setting. It seems like you are projecting…
Is it just me? Or is their growing hostility from multi-racial americans who are of a recent, and partially black heritage towards the multi-generational mixed people who self-identify as black? I dunno, maybe I’m just doing as I just accused someone else of doing. Nonetheless, I think the anger of some of these groups is misguided…
By the way, the term ‘black’ has flip-flopped (again) with AF.American in recent times. It is commonly used in reference to the culture and not the race. This is the source of a lot of confusion. A person who is only 1/4 an 1/8, or even 1/16th african, may SELF-IDENTIFY as such and not be reprimanded for it.If it’s really about freedom (from stigmatization), then stop trying to reclaim mixed folks (like President Obama) who SELF-IDENTIFY as black. It is their right.
