HOLLYROD’S FOUNDATION BENEFITS PARKINSON’S AND AUTISM

Actress Holly Robinson Peete and her husband former NFL player Rodney Peete have gathered a few of their celebrity friends to help throw a series of Super Bowl parties to benefit charity. The HollyRod Super Bowl events started on Thursday and ends on Sunday.

The Peete’s hope to raise a great deal of money for their Hollyrod Foundation, established in 1992. For the past nine years, the couple has hosted a party in whatever host city the Super Bowl landed, with proceeds going to their foundation. They have raised anywhere from $250,000 to $2 million in previous years.The Hollyrod Foundation provides medical, physical and emotional support for those suffering from debilitating life circumstances, including Parkinson’s Disease. Another charity that will benefit from the weekend events will be Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center. The Peete’s oldest son has autism.

My son also has autism. Its been a rough year, keep doing what your doing , you keep me on track of what i need to be doing for my son. The traditional doctors give you no information or support. I had to find everything on my own and the professionals even discouraged me . My son went from 8 hours of car noises a day to 3and 4 word sentences now.Dont let the cdc forget.
