Rapper and basketball player Lil Romeo Miller who plays point guard for his High School team has injured his knee and can no longer play for the rest of the season. Romeo who has been given full scholarship to play basketball for the University of Southern California( USC) in the fall will have to stay off his feet to completely recover so that he may play in his freshman year of college.

Romeo‘s father rapper Percy “Master P.” Miller says the following about his son’s injured knee:

“His doctor told him not to play on it for two weeks and give it a chance to heal. After two weeks, he got back in the game and he knee began to hurt again. He stayed out of the game another three weeks, but the knee still kept giving him trouble. Now, he’ll stay out [this season] and make sure it heals totally. Staying off it will keep him from having further problems, like tearing something which would cause him to need to be operated on. So, we wanna make sure it heals.”
