Mary Louise and daughter Caroline Aberash

Actress Mary Louise Parker was seven months pregnant with her first child when she split from her baby’s daddy. Now the Golden Globe actress has two children, one of whom is an adopted African girl named Caroline Aberash Parker.

Mary Louise says that she doesn’t dwell on the past hurts because she doesn’t want her children to suffer:

“Of course I think about myself, but I think about my children 25 hours a day. I think about my children as I walk in the door, so I don’ t think in terms of ‘oh if my life were…’ That’s not good for them. Your children suffer when you have one foot in the past.”

nonblack girls who choose to have children by brothas, do not know that their offspring will look black because alot of the time, they do not. The way one looks is all in the hands of the almighty or maker. so whether or not one wants a black child is not the question. the question is does everyone want a healthy child?

I didn’t know she was rich enough or part of that “hollywood elite” to do the adopt-a-black-baby thing…
