JESSICA ALBA WANTS HER BABY TO BE BROWN
Jessica Alba wants her baby to be brown. In an interview with Latina magazine, Jessica says the following:
On what she wants her baby to look like: ”I’m excited for my baby to be brown. I just have to believe the dark gene is going to survive. Cash and I are like, please!”
On confusing other men for her dad as a kid: “When I was little, I used to go up to black men and hold their legs, thinking it was my dad all the time. I’d wrap my arms around them, then look up and be like, ‘Oh my God!’”
On her reluctance to walk the red carpet at Latin events: “I’ll support those shows, but I can’t go on the press lines and have people make me feel bad about myself. Life is too short. I can’t change how I grew up, and I shouldn’t have to apologize for it. I know I feel close to the Latin community, because that’s what I grew up with.”
On claims that she’s proud to have cut loose from her Mexican roots: “I never said that. Cut loose from what? What the hell are they talking about? Why would I want to cut loose from the only family I know?”
Blackcelebritykids says: Not to worry, Ms. Alba. Being that your boyfriend Cash Warren is of African American descent,and that you are a melange of Danish and Mexican-American,your baby is bound to turn out brown.

I LOVE my People of Color but am I the only one that cringed while reading this???
I want my kids to be brown too. I know what she’s talking about.
That’s funny that BCK said her child was “bound to turn out brown”! I’ve seen photos of Honor since she’s been born and I just saw a recent one. Guess what? She isn’t brown! Anyway, technically Honor is half white, 1/4 Mexican, and 1/4 black. That’s not going to automatically equal brown, and it certainly didn’t!
I’ve seen a recent picture of Honor and she is getting browner, her arms and legs are browner than her face which is dead on her Daddy, as far as her features.
Her skin tone looks similar to Halle Berry’s Nahla. Whether she gets browner or not, she’ll always know her actor Grandpa was straight up African American, so her Black heritage is never far from her as is her White and Mexican.
She’s Mexican, of course that baby will look brown. I don’t even see the White in her that she refers to anyways, get real Alba…
OMG! The baby can look white black Latino Asian whatever it does not matter! Its the type of person she will become and how she grows up and treats and respect others. Looking a certain way is only hereditary and obviously the first thing you see before even getting to know anyone. I hate people that point out or claim race or perceives people based on race. Before you make preconceived notions about anyone alway think about how has this person affected me in anyway shape or form when I don’t even know them and has done nothing.
Wow saying you want a baby to be a certain color is relay racist. Seriously if you want your baby to be a color then you need help and maybe a swift kick in the bum. It’s the person inside that matters, isn’t that what all this getting past racism stuff is about?
