Rachel Roy is a designer, a mother,a wife,and a mom-to-be. The fashion designer is 6 months pregnant with her second child due in the spring of this year. Rachel who together with husband Damon Dash have a daughter named Ava,has this to say about her pregnancy:
“It’s number two,and I am thrilled because number one, Ava, is the best thing in my life, and I have always wanted to have another little Ava – or Ava as a boy! So, high fives all around!” Ava was born in 1999, a year after Roy and Dash became a couple. They married in 2005.

he was engaged to aaliyah but i think this whole relationship with rachel started up again after that. It seemed to almost happen out of the blue like they decided to just get married…truth is i dont see much love between them only seems like a business agreement

Damon Was in a Relationship with Rachel before Aaliyah. Had a baby named Ava with Rachel then dumped Rachel for Aaliyah. Rachel worked for Roc a wear so they never actually lost touch. She took him back after Aaliyah died tragically. Damon was then issued an ultimatum when he impregnated yet another woman while still with Rachel. He finally married poor Rachel. After all the BS. I feel sorry for her cause I don’t see the love coming from him. I wish them the best though. I hope for the kids sake they stay together and the business does well.

Wow, this is news to hear, 9 years later, see God did not want no mess for Aaliyah, i can believe Damon Dash, i know him and Stacy Dash are cousins. But he’s a player, this is the problem with men, you with one woman, then you see another woman, oh can i get with her. I am really in shock, because i was wondering where he had meet this lady he married. God Rest Aaliyah soul, i am so sick of these men. Running around with Susan, Jane and Sally, you know the old saying John, Dick and Harry; same thing. I Know R. Kelly might not have been her mom’s choice, but i think R. Kelly would be in a better place in his life, if they could have at lease had some kids, they might not have stayed together for ever, but at lease Aaliyah would have had some kids. Kids help you make better decisions. For years i have wondered, if Aaliyah had still been with R. Kelly would she be alive today. With the money he has he could have rented her a 747 Jet. I will never compare Beyounce with Aaliyah, but you see how, one parent was always with her. I wish that Aaliyah mom or dad, could have been her manager. I don’t understand how people in the industry, like Quincy Jones, just in chance of conversation, tell these young people to stay off those small planes.
