“How many times do i have to tell everyone,no i don’t have a child. I have never had a child. I would never,never,have a child and not allow my child to not know who their father is.Please believe me that I do not have a child.”

You know years ago in the 80′s in Right On magz. I saw a picture of Janet Jackson backstage somewhere sitting down on what looked liked a table, and she was wearing a large black sweatshirt and she looked about 7to 8mths pregnant. I never saw that picture again in life almost as if they were pulled from the public view. Now I’m not saying she’s lying but after all she did lie for 11 years about her marriage to Rene Elizondo.

I just happened to come accross this..and Rain I totally agree with you. I too, had a poster from Right On Magazine back in the 80s and if I recall correctly Janet was standing up. But she appeared to be full blown pregnant and had not just picked up some weight. But what I find amazing is now someone else remembers seeing this also! I love Janet and the Jackson Family but it is amazing what money can do!

karen, i am so thrilled to know that someone else out there remembers that photo. that is one of the main reasons why i never dismissed it as a viscious rumor. on top of the fact that certain jacksons tend to insult intelligent folks intelligence.

I haven’t dismissed the rumor either because things don’t make sense. The people from the tv show Fame stated that Janet Jackson would be leaving the show because she was in a “family way”. Multiple shots and talk around that time seems to have somehow disappeared its weird. They are an unusual family and I think that she may have felt that it might hurt a career she was trying to rev up. She probably just had a late term abortion or she gave it up for adoption. The jacksons don’t really get along or have much to do with each other so she probably didn’t give it to Rebbie unless that added to one of the reasons they don’t get along.
They are definitely an unusual celebrity family.
I still enjoy many of her songs and hope she finds real happiness.

Janet and Rebbie do get along. They always have so implying otherwise is absurd. Have you ever thought that maybe the rumors died away because they were just that…RUMORS. There would be no point in keeping it quiet now yet she still maintains that she has never had a child. I’m inclined to believe her.

You know I love the Jacksons but you have to agree they are extremely strange group. Brother’s having and marrying the same woman…. They are a weird bunch but who doesn”t have disfunction in ones family.
