The baby brother of late singer Gerald Levert was sentenced to 22 months in jail for failing to pay child support.Sean Levert reportedly owes $85,427.68 in back child support for his three children – ages 11, 15 and 17.
Sean’s brother Gerald Levert died in late November of 2006.

I’m sorry the man died. At the same time if he had done as he was supposed to, a jail visit wouldn’t have been an issue.

My heart and soul goes out to you and your entire family at this difficult time.As hard as it may be to accept God makes no mistakes seek him for understanding and comfort.God said he has many mansions Sean has been recieved into Gods heavenly kingdom.Dont let the negative media around Seans personal life be a thought at this time.I believe that Gods the only one that truly knew his heart and what he did or didn’t do for his family.This is the worst place in the world to have to be when you leave this earthly place.This is not time to speculate about his legal situation.What is important is that three children have lost their father and he’ll miss their graduations,wedding,all the major milestones in their lives.But I’m sure the rest of the family will be their to guide them into being responsable and successful adults.May your entire family find peace and comfort in Jesus Christ.

my heart goes out the the Levert family and to the children of Sean Levert. They have lost their father. I no this is especially hard for Eddie Levert for he has lost two of his children in a short period of time. And both deaths were sounexpected.
wow, it’s so sad about the levert boys, first gerald, now sean. i must say this seems so crazy them dying right behind each other like that. it’s a sad affair. my heart goes out to the levert family at this tough time.
Why was another Father murdered by a system bent on removing them from their childrens lives? This system is corrupt, if the father is in the childrens lives why must he pay the extortion money? Never stop asking these questions. Why must a loving father pay to be in his children’s lives?
And what putting men in jail going to do??? Nothing. They are going to pay some and then they are goign to stop

God has a plan for each and everyone of us and when our purpose is fullfilled it’s time 2 go home. After Gerald’s death it was so hard 2 take, but we have 2 lean on the lord for better understanding. All our prayers goes out to the Levert family! WE LOVE YOU AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU.
