Byron Allen, the host of talk shows Entertainers with Byron Allen and Comics Unleashed, and his wife, producer Jennifer Lucas, are expecting their first child, “We’re having a girl!” says Lucas, 36, who is due August 29. “We are so excited. We’ve always wanted kids, and this is the perfect time for us.”The couple
were married at the Bel Air Hotel in Los Angeles last September in front of 120 guests, including Natalie Cole and Eddie Murphy.Allen, 46, is also known for hosting TV’s Real People in the early 1980s. Lucas is a producer of Comics Unleashed.“Byron is going to be an amazing dad,” says Lucas. “He will be phenomenal.”
