A DNA test proves that the late James Brown fathered a six-year-old boy named James Brown jr.(his mother named him well). Up until now,many had questioned the validity as to whether little James was in fact the son of the GodFather of Soul.Others believed that the little boy’s mother,Tomi Rae Hynie, was lying in order to get to the deceased James Brown’s estate:

New DNA tests prove that the Godfather of Soul lives on in a 6-year-old boy.Results confirm that James Brown was the biological father of James Brown II, according to Peter Shahid, the boy’s attorney. The boy’s mother, Tomi Rae Hynie, sang backup for Brown and claimed to be the soul legend’s wife when he died Dec. 25, 2006. Neither Hynie nor her son was mentioned in his will, and the positive paternity test is a first step in staking a claim to the singer’s estate.While he was alive, the Hardest Working Man in Show Business lived up to

I am so happy to have found a picture of the late James Brown and his little boy in BCK archives. I have heard that this little son was able to claim his part of James Brown’s huge estate.
Comparison of this story to the ease of which Michael Jackson’s property was probated is more testament, in my view, of how dearly Michael cared for his children.
