LIONEL RICHIE IS PICTURED WITH HIS GRANDDAUGHTER BABY HARLOW
NICOLE RICHIE,HER DAD LIONEL RICHIE,HER BOYFRIEND JOEL MADDEN AND THEIR DAUGHTER HARLOW WINTER are all featured in June’s issue of Harper’s Bazaar. In the issue,Nicole talks about being a mother to her now 5-month-old daughter,why she decided to do a People cover shoot with her baby just weeks after giving birth,and so much more:
Dad Lionel Richie On why Her Daughter Is famous:”It’s because she is real. She is always brutally honest. What she says is what she means. Everywhere I go, they love Nicole. She would be a hit anywhere. I love her so much, and that’s not speaking as her father, that’s speaking as a fan.”
Nicole On why She Did The People Cover:The day before it came out, I was nervous,” she says, “because there was going to be a picture of my daughter everywhere.” Then she evinces a peculiarly Hollywood logic. “But if I didn’t put a picture out, it would have been 10 times worse. I wanted to stop people trying to get pictures of her. I was just being a protective mom.”
Nicole On How Motherhood Has Changed Her:”You know, I went through a stage of thinking that once you had a baby, you moved to Brentwood, had a white picket fence, and it changed your entire life,” Nicole says. “But I love where I am right now. Every single thing is for Harlow. Joel took me out last week, and he was like, ‘Why don’t we go out and have a shopping day?’ But I ended up only going to kid stores.” She laughs wryly. “I didn’t get to buy shoes or anything.”

I am so glad she is not hanging with Paris anymore. She has grown into a graceful beautiful mother and young lady. YOU GO GIRL! Its doesnt hurt having your Dad singing all those sappy love songs. So in the immortal words of her daddy… Nicole You are once, twice, three times a lady and we love you!
Nicole is 1/2 AFrAm(lionel’s former tour asst) & 1/2 Afro-Mexican(dad Peter Escovedo 3rd). I wonder if her 2nd child has AfrAm features(browner skin) will she then acknowledge her AfrAm roots?
All the times that she was arrested she gave her ethnicity as white or hispanic. Then had her AFRAM parents bail her out.
Just wondering.
She has already said on Tyra’s show that she identifies as Black.

I know this post is old, but Harlow was just so cute in those pics! I used to have a crush on Joel Madden and his twin brother Benji back in the day. Joel’s still pretty adorable himself.
Why does not Joel, and Nicole get married? Have they thought about marriage? It is something to seriously take into consideration when people start having children.
