Mariah Carey and new husband Nick Cannon have fueled rumors they’re set to start a family after one of Mimi’s assistants reportedly called LA based Petit Tresor to chat about nursery decor.

A source said that the assistant asked the store if they could send fabric samples and if its designers could work with the theme of butterflies.

Petit Tresor have just finished decorating another show-biz nursery for the Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony twins.

Despite the preparations, Mariah’s manager, Benny Medina, insists the 38-year-old is not pregnant, although Mimi has been quoted saying that having children is “part of the whole purpose of getting married.”

These new revelations come just a few weeks after Mariah admitted her and MTV star Nick Cannon had got married in the Bahamas.
