‘It is no secret that Mel and Stephen want to have a baby together,’ says a friend.

‘Mel is continually talking about wanting another child and she loves being pregnant and being a mother.’

The 32-year-old already has daughter Phoenix Chi, 9, by first husband Jimmy Gulzar, and Angel Iris, 1, from her brief relationship with Eddie Murphy.Recently, the singer admitted: ‘If it had been up to me I would have had five kids by the age of 20.’She married Stephen in a quiet ceremony last June.
