I hope that Terrance does not have an attraction for his daughter himself. Some fathers do have attraction toward their daughers, so they do not want any other males around them. Some would say that he is being ovver protective, others would say he is just being a vigilant pop. I have already said what I feel. She is too fast to begin with. She should not be dating, nor concerned about obtaining her pop’s inheritance if she obeys him or not. She should be in school or trying to prepare for her own living. Terrance, don’t wound up like brandon’s son, kill someone, and then cause your child to hate you for doing that then end up a gonner yourself. Just be cool, communicate with your child about the matter, and then work it out that way. Use common sense. Good luck.

Goodness Terrence is not playing boy! But unless you have a girl you had no idea. And Terrence had it rough growing up. I commend him my daughter had it rough from their Dad but now they appreciatebeing hard on them. Both had great jobs and appreciate being raised tough love kudos Terrence do it your way!

Good way to force your kids into doing things behind your back. I think 14 is too young to be “dating” but he’s going overboard. Those of us who have teens / adult children know it’s only a matter of time before she rebels and when she does nothing he says will matter. That’s the unfortunate part about he’s going about things. Threatening someone’s child could get him killed. That’s just not cool.

Thanks pops for caring; however, disowning your child for disobedience is absurd and he is taking that too far…hopefully that was a threat, and he didn’t really mean that. But I agree 16yrs old would be more appropriate to start dating, but it is now when the hook ups occur, and if he tries to keep them apart, the sneaking comes into play…let the kids live life…def let the kids know what is important and what their main focus should be right now; but as I stated, he should be careful with the threats and the separation becuase maybe all what he has set asided doesn’t mean much to her and she just wants to be a teenager…Keeping that tight of a leash on a kid will make them go astray…let go just a little bit and see if she breaks the rules/trust that he has for her and then over do it…you don’t want to keep them locked down and then when they do get out and get that freedom…they lose control…mark my words…I have seen it done over and over and over and over!

I personally believe that Terrence ran out. I understand that he wants to protect his daughter, but he can’t go on threatening the life of other people children… That’s not right. She is too young to be dating guys, but she should be able to have male friends so that when she goes to College, she will know how to control herself and know her limit with guys. It’s one thing for your perents to tell you about guys, but everyone must learn for thenselves…
