Martin Luther King III,his wife Arndrea Waters King,and his sister Bernice King left Northside Hospital with their newborn girl, Yolanda Renee King (pictured), on May 27, 2008. Yolanda Renee is the first grand-child of the late Martin Luther King JR.Watch the video of their departure as well as see more pictures of baby Yolanda Renee.

I have a dream that one day Yolanda Renee King will be one of the first black female presidents and not be jugded by the color of her skin but by the content of her character…LOL yaw grandfather was the best!!!!
I am so estatic that one of Dr. Martin Luther King’s children decided to start another generation of Kings. It would have been sad if that had not occurred. Hell, I know times are hard, but still with a wonderful family as theirs, rich or poor, the torch should be, and has to be carried by the next generation. I hope this child will not be the only King grand.
