My husband and I have 3 kids and our middle child was born looking just like Marley but he had gray eyes and his father is darker than DaMarcus. His family was uneasy at first but as he got older, his features changed. He is still very light, so much that many of my Hispanic friends call him little Puerto Rican. We have also have had people come and talk to him and I in Spanish and we are not of the Spanish heritage. We are looking to adopt a child and if a white child comes available for adopt there is no question; we would happily receive that child as our own. Because the child’s need is greater than any opinions of outsiders, who (might I add) don’t even take care nor parent the child. I think that there is just as many white children waiting for adoption as AA but the statics are so swayed that we get deceive by numbers based on color. Instead of asking why didn't they adopt a black baby (as stated we do not know her race) and making it seem as though they are social misfits why don't the black fathers who fathered the fatherless stand up and be men, maybe there would not be so many "black" babies who need homes.
