QUEEN LATIFAH WANTS CHILDREN SOON
Rapper turned actress Queen Latifah,38, wants to have children soon,but she is not sure when. The actress says, “There’s the intention. I don’t know when, but it’s gonna happen eventually.”Last year, Latifah admitted that she wouldn’t mind adopting. She said,”I want to have and adopt. I always have, ever since I was 18, I wanted a baby and I wanted to have and adopt because there are a lot of kids. I want to adopt an American baby though, you know what I mean, no offense.Just because there are so many kids here that need our help. My sister is a social worker, and there are just so many kids that could use a good home.”
For now, Latifah spends her time mentoring to children in the League, a new youth-service organization based in her hometown of Newark, N.J.
Quote says she has wanted to have kids since she was 18 years old, not that she wants to have 18 kids.
