HENRY SAMUEL-KLUM: A BARBIE DOLL AND A TANTRUM

[BCK wonders whose doll Henry is strolling around]
Heidi Klum and kids Henry,2 1/2, Leni,4, and baby Johan,19months, spent Tuesday afternoon walking the streets of Greenwich Village in NYC. Heidi, her kids, her mom and her nannies enjoyed the afternoon stroll, stopping in between walks to grab ice cream. Looks like Henry is not so happy…Maybe he finished his ice cream a bit too early?

Heidi is married to Seal and their children bear his last name. Show some respect.
i didn’t even catch that…with the last name…but aww poor baby…i wonder what was wrong lolz aww…
Poor baby. Maybe he didn’t get his way or something. He’s probably going thru the terrible two’s!
OMG, B-Nak, you don’t know how hard i just laughed at this. You know me and Henry go way back…..and I have to get him for this tantrum. Is she pullin’ his shirt back in that tantrum pic???
lmaoooooooooooooooo.
why is he pushing a stroller with a doll in it?
Seal (Seal Henry) Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel…Seal’s last name is Samuel …but thanks for the comment
If Seal’s last name is Samuel then Henry’s name should read “Henry Klum-Samuel.” The father’s name comes last. My father uses both his mother and his father’s last name, and his father’s name comes last. Remember when Pamela Anderson was married to Tommy Lee? Her name was “Pamela Anderson Lee” not “Pamela Lee Anderson.”
Heidi is German and therefore they appear to adopt the European standard in the way they are named. In Germany, Switzerland, Austria-come to think of it all of Continental Europe, this is the norm. I should know, I live in Switzerland and my kids would carry my name last. This was law in Switzerland until just recently-after I0d got married, where you could choose the order or the name or even use only your maiden name. Previously, this wasn’t the case and since the laws in Europe are for the most part similar, it would explain why their kids’ have Seal’s last name first and hers last. That shows that Heidi is traditional and have chosen the traditional way of adopting her husband’s name first when she got married. The idea behind this custom or law was to show that you the woman have given uo your maiden name and have joined with your husband in every sense of the word thereby adopting his family’s name therefore making yours secondary, since then your allegiance and loyalty would be to him as you have adopted his and his family’s. Some people choose to give up their maiden name entirely, and some hyphenate it by inserting their maiden name at the end. Today some men in Europe do the same by putting their wives name at the end of theirs. My husband carries my name at the end of his name, as this was the option we chose when we got married. Today in Europe, some men even give up their name and adopt their wives’ names upon marriage. The second idea which after asking my husband as to the reason for this practice, he said it was for the kids, that when they are called, they would be called by the father’s name as opposed to a hyphenated form, and without the hyphen it would mean that they would have to be called by their mom’s name. e.g Henry Klum-Samuel. In an official setting, he would be called Henry Klum as it would be custom to drop as hyphenated name-in the interest of keeping the name short and according to the world’s norm, as that would then mean it bears less significane as they are heir to Mr. Samuel. You got my gist?
She needs to learn how to comb his hair. I cannot stand to see children with their hair looking a mess like that
All she needs to do is keep his hair moisturized and it will be fine– a lot of black mothers miss this point and end up ruining their kids hair with “Just for Me” perm by the age of 6.
OMG What year is it? He’s pushing a stroller with a baby, its a toy- he’s a child! I teach preschool and we have multi-racial dolls in the “nursery” for All the children to play with. Girls, boys, black, asian, white, whatever. Sorry but some black families really need to evolve. And I LOVE Henry, his wild hair and tantrums! And yes it does look like Heidi is about to yolk his behind up and give him the gritted-teeth mommy-grip “don’t even think about it!”…I love this family
his hair makes him cute lol stop hatin on his natural naps ya’ll haha besides she probably doesn’t know anything about that haha and that the heck….he knows he does not need to be playing with a doll.
he cute
stop hating on him
his hair is not that bad
