Actress Paige Hurd (CW TV Show “Everybody Hates Chris”) had her Sweet 16 Birthday Party this past Saturday on July 19, 2008 in Los Angeles, California. Paige asked everyone at her party not to buy her a gift for her birthday;instead,she wanted everyone to buy a raffle ticket to benefit children with Cancer.Paige,who is one of five children, was motivated by her youngest brother to throw a “fundraising birthday party”.Paige’s youngest brother Pierce,6,has both Cancer and Down Syndrome.
Other celebrities in attendance were Landon Brown(son of Bobby Brown), Lil B. Sure(son of Al B. Sure),Bobbi Christina (daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown), Corde’ Cordell and Cori (E! “Snoop Dogg Fatherhood” and kids of Snoop Dogg), Quincy Brown (Son of Al B. Sure! and Kim Porter),to name a few.

It’s amazing that a girl her age is as smart as she is. Alot of celebrities don’t do things as wonderful as this. Look at Donald Trump and his wife’s wedding and some of the more “lavish” baby showers. Donate that stuff to charity. You don’t need it and you’ll be helping someone who does!!

Paige is an amazing person… I was inspired by her party so now for my sweet sixteen it is going to be a charity event to benefit Cancer and/or Animal cruelty.
