Singer Monica,who recently announced her engagement to her boyfriend rapper Rocko Da Don(Rodney Hill jr),is pictured with her two sons three-year-old Rodney and 18-month-old Romelo. The 27-year-old singer has a new album to be released next year as well as a reality series called, “The Single: Monica”,which premieres in August 5th. The portraits were shot by none other than celebrity photographer Derek Blanks.

& why is it called “the single” is she is engaged & has sons? Her &ss def aint single.
She still is single. Being engaged is still single and having two sons only makes you single with two sons. Once she gets married then she won’t be single anynore. You are either single, married, divorced, or separated.

Romelo Montez is the cutest baby. Look at his chuddy cheeks and legs. Just a gorgeous baby. He has a head full of hair, beautiful skin and beautiful blue eyes. Monica is beautiful and a wonderful mother.
Georgia you better watch out making comments like that. Some people who frequent this site don’t like it when you refer to the beauty of a light skinned individual without also mentioning in the same post that dark skinned people are beautiful too (If you need proof just take a look at my comments regarding Vanessa Williams’ daughter and another person’s comments regarding the Whittaker children. When comparing the backlash I and others have received for making those comments with the lack thereof when flattering remarks were made about darker complected beauties, like the daughters of Lil’ Wayne and the Jolie-Pitts, you’ll find that there is clearly a double standard.
I for one don’t give a rats a$$ and will continue to voice my opinion. But, that approach isn’t for the faint of heart. You’ve been warned:-)

I didn’t think my comment would get anybody upset. Beauty is Beauty. So I can’t say he has beautiful skin because he is light skin. He’s a very cute baby.
@not buyin it I’m sorry but some people take comments too personal. Just because she thinks the baby has beautiful skin and he happens to be light skin what does that prove.
But really not buying it. I don’t want to offend anyone with any comments that I make. I realize beauty in whatever complextion light skin to dark skin.

Hello, please remember that several years ago Monica had to make a public apology for denying that she birth a child as a teenager. Interestingly enough, I have not seen this child in the show. When she first came out, I was a true die-hard fan, but when she lied in an interview denying her child, I stopped seeing her in the same light. She is talented, but she needs to be honest with the public and fans.
