A young woman from virgina is claiming that 19-year-old singer Chris Brown is the father to her four-year-old son. The woman named Michelle Gasper says that she and Chris dated back when they were both 14-years-old:

A Local Virginia native, Michelle Gasper, a 19 year old from Tappahannock, Virginia called her local radio station Saturday morning claiming that singer Chris Brown and herself had been in a relationship for over 2 years before he signed a record deal, and released his self-titled debut album in 2005. She claimed that the two first started dating in 2003, when they were both only 14 years old. Gasper claims that the two engaged in unprotected sex numerous times, and she had agreed with Brown to acquire in an abortion before later giving birth to her now 4 year old son, Deshante Gasper in July 2004. Gasper also claimed that her relationship with Brown had persisted well during the time he first signed a record deal with the label, Jive Records in late 2004, but his mother, Joyce Hopkins insisted that he ended the relationship with Gasper, having the fear of the public knowing of him being the father of a child, which she thought would tarnish his future music career.
Gasper cried hysterically over the Essex County radio station implying that she wanted Brown to be in their 4 year old son’s life. The radio DJ, Maurice Hendricks questioned the truthfulness of Gasper’s allegations asking her why she would choose to speak out so many years later. She then replied in saying that Brown’s mother, Joyce Hopkins had been sending her money for several years to help with her son, Deshante and to also remain silent about the situation. Gasper insisted that Brown needed to play a more fatherly role in their son’s life since he was getting older, and had begun to ask questions about his father’s existence. Gasper remained on air for about 15 minutes while Hendricks continued to try to keep her calm. So far, there has been no comment from Brown’s publicist concerning these allegations. Chris Brown first entered onto the music scene in late 2005 with his hit single, “Run It”. His debut album has gone on to sell over 2 million copies in the U.S. alone.

this story could very well be true…i can even understand as too why she waited so long in coming out with info….she was 14/15 at the time and was very gulliable and naive…she probably thought it was best to let chris get his carrer going and as we know black mothers of son’s tend to be VERY much controlling of their son’s lives and again…they were extremly young. Now that her son is 4 and she has matured…she now realizes that being quiet benefits no1…and if this is true…he needs to step up and momma joyce needs to bk the hell up and let her son be a man about his.

What I dont get is why she decides to out him over the radio. If she sincerely wanted him to take care of his child, what makes her think saying on the radio will help? That just made her look foolish. I hate when people decide to go on the radio to speak on something they have done with a celebrity. It just makes them look ignorant.
If he is the father than oh well thats on him, but going over the air to tell the whole world he isnt taking care of his responsibilities will only make him not want to do it even more because he knows the world is watching.

Terri, I disagree 200%. No woman in good conscious can ever make a deal to deprive her child of a father. It’s simply not her place. Furthermore, it sounds like she wasn’t a woman at the time she made this “deal.” She was a TEENAGER, and therefore, most likely incapable of making truly important decisions like how to raise a child in a loving, caring, and enriching environment. That’s why most people would agree that the teen years are not the best time to begin a family. Again, she may have chosen a questionable forum to out Chris; but, if the end result is that he’ll own up to his responsibilities as a father, hey I ain’t mad at it.

Ok, let me spread some knowledge on this baby mama drama. She’s says that she has a 4 year old by Chris born in July of 2004, meaning it was concieved in late 2003. That’s interesting to me because this girl is from Tappahannock correct? Well, while that may be Chris’ home town, he moved away from Virginia from the time he was 13. In early 2003, he was in Harlem, NY staying with a friends’ family working on recording his music. So they couldn’t have had a relationship because he wasn’t even in Virginia at the time, he just bought a 6-bedroom house when he was 18 in Virginia. So there it is, the girl is lying.
