my name is katrena collins and i actually had the pleasure of going to school with je’niece and she was a beautiful person inside and out back then and i can see the same qualities have not changed. my deepest sympathy goes out to the McCullough family. Bernie was the best comedian of today and his no holds barred approach to life, kids, and love will be truly missed.

I feel as if I am in a fog. Everytime I think that “Big Mac” is gone, I get a lump in my throat. He will always be remembered and respected for everything that he did. He made comedy funny again and he was a family man. I thank you all for allowing the world to get to know “Big Mac” eventho he was your husband, father and grandfather. HI MY NAME IS SHANIKA NEWRY AND IM FROM THE BAHAMAS IT SADDENED ME TO HEAR OF BERNIE MAC’S DEATH IT WAS A EVEN BIGGER SHOCKER BECAUSE I DID NOT EVEN KNOW THAT HE WAS ILL. I WATCH HIS SHOW EVERDAY AT 6 I CANT BELIEVE HE’S GONE HEAVEN NEEDED A HERO AND THAT IS WHY GOT SENT FOR HIM THEY ALSO NEEDED A COMEDIAN SO THEY CAME AND GOT HIM. BE BLESSED BECAUSE AFTER EVERY STORM THERE IS SUNSHINE.

Je’Neice is definitely a female version of her father, my prayers go out to Tre’, Rhonda, and i am sorry that Lil’ Jasmine will not grow up to know her wonderful grandfather; but Bernie will not be forgotten…..when Jasmine does grow up, she will see the impact her grandpa had on this world…..Rhonda keep the faith….God is still in control!!!!!!
