In fact, if you google search the place, more articles come up about her, than actual facts on the country. it's just a little too perfect. Also, I'm not saying American kids need it more. Not saying that at all. what I am saying is that one doesn't need to travel across the globe to do so, and that one should help with the issues in ones own backyard. as for the "government checks" statement, yeah, the kids here might as well be in those countries, because they aren't seeing any of the money anyway. foster care is an oasis for anyone and neither is living in poverty in Malawi. So I don't see why she hasn't gotten a child here. Color isn't an issue. I don't care if she adopted a white baby from Alabama, or a black baby from Tennessee, as long as she's doing it here at least once.
