Madonna’s son David Banda Mwale Ciccone-Ritchie (born 9/24/2005) was caught in the rain while with his nanny and an umbrella carrier on August 14th. In sad news,David’s biological grandmother has passed away in his homeland of Malawi.It was David’s grandmother who placed him in the orphanage where singer Madonna later found him.David’s grandmother died from pneumonia.
Trivia:Did you know that singer Madonna’s birth name is Madonna Louise Ciccone?

He is really growing up quickly. I was a little hurt to see his mother and father on another celebrity blog, showing off a new baby son. I just don’t understand how you can put one in the orphanage because you don’t have any money to take care of him and then have another child.
Steffie, I am sure that they do have money now because the father was paid money for his interviews.
I just hope that little David gets the chance to visit his home country and have some type of relationship with his brother (even if he chooses not to with the parents).
Steffie, that wasn’t his mother I don’t think…I believe his mother died.
Why do they call him David Banda? Is that his first and middle name or his last name, or what? It;s confusing. Why not just call him David? Isn’t his last name Ciccione or Ritchie?
