PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE BARACK OBAMA,WIFE, AND DAUGHTERS HAVE A DREAM

Friday, Aug 29 , 2008 1:12:pm by blackcelebritykids FILED UNDER Barack Obama

Presidential Democratic Nominee Senator Barack Obama gave his acceptance speech yesterday(August 28,2008) and has become the first African -American to be nominated for presidency. On the 45th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr’s  ”I have a dream speech”, Barack Obama brought more than 75,000 supporters to their feet  with an acceptance speech equally as moving as that of King’s. There to celebrate the momentous event were Barack’s daughters Malia,10, and Sasha,7, his wife Michelle Obama and his Vice-Presidential Nominee Joe Biden, along with Biden’s family. Here is an excerpt from Obama’s 2008 acceptance speech:

Four years ago, I stood before you and told you my story — of the brief union between a young man from Kenya and a young woman from Kansas who weren’t well-off or well-known but shared a belief that in America, their son could achieve whatever he put his mind to.It is that promise that has always set this country apart — that through hard work and sacrifice, each of us can pursue our individual dreams but still come together as one American family, to ensure that the next generation can pursue their dreams as well.”~Presidential Nominee Barack Obama

In the second pic they all look completely bored but still lovely.

Pretty dresses are a big perk when you have girls.
    So sweet!

I have to say I saw Obama’s speech last night and I have to say He and his family can be the next generation’s role model. Him making it this for in his race for presidency is moving and encouraging. It is one of the best example we have that there is more ways out of the ghetto then shucking and jiving. I have to say I am proud to see this. Obama Rocks!!!

Barack is amazing. I’m praying he wins. But what a beautiful black family. Barack and Michelle are great role models for young people. They can inspire black people to reach for higher and harder goals. They are the perfect example that you can be whatever you want to be in this world.

They are such a beautiful family. I can’t wait to see them in the White House or may I say the Brown House. I have supported the Obama campaign from the very beginning and believed that Yes We Can! I’m active in the political community and can say that I have been blessed to have the opportunity to meet the Obama’s and will be meeting them once again, this September at a dinner with Obama as the guest speaker. It’s wonderful to witness history in the making.
