Here are the first upclose pictures of Halle Berry’s five-month-old daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry. Nahla,her mom, and her grandmother went to the Los Angeles Zoo On August 30th.

    Wow, Truth, so you’re basically prescribing to what you yourself admitted was white slave laws? Hmmm. Maybe you should think about that for a minute. If not, why not go back to segregation or, worse yet, slavery… since, according to you, we’re to follow “white slave laws.”

    Truth- It is a known fact that Bi-racial children do battle with their own set of problems that the rest of us can’t relate to.

    I’ve listen to Halle Berry as well as Barack Obama make mention of problems they’ve had to deal with because one parent is white and the other is black.

    I mean from just reading some of the blogs today it clearly shows that its evident. I have a black mother and a black Father so I can’t relate to them on that level. But I can relate to being a light skin black person though and other black people at times have tried to put a label on me. Saying that oh she’s pretty but she would’nt be as pretty if she did’nt have that light skin. And I think thats crazy. But this is our own race speaking like this.

    So I’m sure bi-racial people have alot of unique issues within themselves.

    I do agree that if one of your parents is black then you are pretty much labeled as black or african american.

    But I don’t see anything with a person acknowledging both sides. There’s nothing wrong with saying thatyou are blackn& White.

    r. scaife, thanks for the shot out. Oh, and thanks for being concerned about my life. Have no fear though, I’m doing quite fine on that front. You should, however, concern yourself with your inability to articulate yourself in an adult-like and educated fashion. There are classes for that.

    As for the substance (or lack thereof) of your comments: you have your opinions, and I have mine. I never comment with the intention or objective of changing others opinions. Quite frankly, it’s not my job, nor my concern. But…

    omg everyone calm down gosh…yes nahla is GORGEOUS! and has GORGEOUS eyes but she is just a baby my goodness..calm down…if her parents where not famous and you saw her in the mall or so you would not be causing this huge riot…and her nationality does not matter..and once you have a black parent or a spanish parent you are NEVER going to be considerd white..white is when your COMPLETELY white meaning both parents are white and your grandparents are white and it goes down the line..so nahla will not be considered white she is more a mullato (which means mixed).

    Halle Berry’s baby is just as adorable and precious as all of Ms. Berry’s fans thought she would be. I wish Halle and her beau the best of luck in their future endeavors. Halle deserves this happiness and for what it’s worth, I’m happy for her!!

    Very pretty little baby girl.Pretty like mom of course.Her eyes are stunning.She take mostly after Halle having a darker complexion & curly/wispy hair.Her eyes are gorgeous like daddy’s.As a dermatologists I can tell you she will get a lot darker thru the growing years as most black babies are born with a very light complexion.Who know maybe their next baby will be lighter and with stright hair..Enjoy your darling little girl made in your image Halle!!

    Baby Nahla is very pretty. Hope she can retain her unusual eye coloring. However, she looks nothing like Jessica Alba’s daughter who is NOT VERY PRETTY AT ALL (to the one who said Nahla looks like her) !!!!! No one can insult Nahla nor compare her to another.

    What we think of the little darling doesn’t matter a hoot and I’m personally glad of that.

    Like so many babies I’ve seen she is absolutely adorable…with rich celebrity parents who are in the public eye we seem to want project all kinds of things on to this precious little girl. I hope she and her family are happy safe and healthy. And if Hallie wants I hope she has many more bundles of joy for us to fawn over, project our opinions, values, biases onto.

    Hally dearest your daughter is very beautiful.What others think about the children born from parents of different etnicity does not matter.People who don’t accept others because of their skin colour are in my view immature because our colour is only skin deep, everything else on or within our body is the same.

    Halle Berry isn’t dark skinned herself so it would make no sense for her baby to me. Remember Halle is biracial herself making Narla technically 1/4 black? if you’ve seen her hair she doesn’t have african hair more more caucassian. Stop putting down biracial kids its wrong you act like the black race is going extinct or something

    Nahla’s deceased maternal grandfather/Hale’s biological father, was an African American hospital attendant in Cleveland, Ohio. This is why Halle Berry and her daughter look and are Black. It’s called DNA.

    Hale repeatedly states on the record that when she sees herself she sees a Black woman. She has also stated that she will teach Nahla to have pride in her African American heritage.

    As long as White men like Gabriel Aubry and any old common White woman are willing to have coitus with Blacks, the Black race has no fear of becoming extinct.

    I love this beautiful picture of this beautiful Black baby girl with her beautiful, full lips and brown, golden skin.

    The maternal grandmother looks like someone in recovery in this picture. Sad to say.
