NBA star Carmelo Anthony had his fourth annual H.O.O.D movement weekend of activities this past July.The V.I.P dinner,which Carmelo attended with his fiance Lala Vasquez and their 16-month-old son Kiyan,was the official kickoff to a weekend of fun ,which benefited the Carmelo Anthony foundation:
The H.O.O.D (Holding Our Own Destiny) Movement, has grown considerably in the four years it has been held. Originally a one-day affair, it now encompasses an entire weekend. Things kicked off Friday night with a VIP dinner and culminate today with a brunch at the Sports Legends Museum at Camden Yards, where an exhibit celebrating Anthony’s achievements and Baltimore ties will be unveiled.Team USA basketball roster - 2008 Beijing Olympics Photos All of the weekend’s festivities support Anthony’s charitable foundation, with proceeds being used to provide a variety of programs and services to underprivileged children.

hmm… i was mad about their relationship before because i wanted for carmelo for myself and i didn’t think that lala was that hot but i now i realize how stupid that sounds and love this family! they are quite refreshing and i hope their family continues to grow!
Carmelo Lala and the baby are so beautiful(no homo)but they say carmelo & lala weren’t getting married cause he was cheating but i’m happy to see they are a family(awwwwww im so sweet)

They’ve been engaged since 2004! Unless they got married in a super private ceremony they are just a regular couple who might become “baby mama and baby daddy” in the future. I really wish he would just seal the deal and not have his son wondering why mommy and daddy never got married when he gets older.
