WARRANT ISSUED FOR DAMON DASH’S EX
An arrest warrant has been issued for the mother of hip-hop mogul DAMON DASH’s 16-year-old son - after the woman failed to return the teen to his father following a custody ruling last week September 10th 2008.New York judge Susan Knipps ruled that Linda Williams must hand over the couple’s son Damon Jr. to the star last Wednesday as part of their ongoing custody battle.
Dash - who has sole custody of the teenager - took Williams to court when she allegedly enrolled the boy at a school in Long Island, New York, while he was visiting her home at the start of the month (Sep08). Dash had reportedly planned for their son to attend school in the city’s Upper West Side.
Williams, who was not present for last week’s decision, was due to make a court appearance on Monday (15Sep08), but after she failed to show for that hearing, Knipps issued a bench warrant for her arrest, reports website TMZ.com.The whereabouts of Damon Jr. are currently unknown.
In all,Damon Dash has four children:a daughter named Ava(with designer Rachel Roy) and two sons Damon Jr. or “Boogie,”and a toddler named Lucky(from a previous relationship ) and a baby daughter named Tallulah Ruth(with designer Rachel Roy).
