KELVIN TAYLOR IS NFL PLAYER FRED TAYLOR’S SON
Kelvin Taylor is the 5-foot-11, 205-pound eighth-grader son of Jacksonville Jaguars All-Pro running back Fred Taylor. Kelvin,14,is already the best tailback in the country and plays on a Varsity team,a position for High School Seniors. It is no wonder that Kelvin is already being compared to his dad, NFL player Fred Taylor. A coach named Tim Tyrrell had this to say about Kelvin:”He’s the best tailback in the country for his age,” said Tyrrell. “He already looks like his dad.”
Kelvin doesn’t like to be compared to his dad;he hopes to make a name for himself:”I wish it was just me only that they would talk about, but it doesn’t bother me.I play my own game,” he said.
Kelvin grew up knowing he wanted to play football:”I always wanted to play football when I was little,” said Taylor, who watches his dad play almost every week. “He just told me to go out and try it.” Not surprisingly,Kelvin is a Jacksonville Jaguars fan,the team on which Fred Taylor has played 11 seasons of his professional career.

This is a great story that he is still the major influence in his kids life. Plus its great to hear a dad not force his son to live up to his image. Way to go Fred keep doing what you doing!!!
