Each year since 2003, NBA star Carmelo Anthony has held an annual holiday event called “A Very Melo Christmas” in which he provides holiday gifts and fun for the disadvantaged youth and families in his community of Denver, Colorado.This year was no different for the basketball star; just a week ago, Carmelo hosted “A Very Melo Christmas” and his 21-month-old son Kiyan was there to join in on the festivities.
The mission of The Carmelo Anthony Foundation is to invest in programs, leaders and community organizations that empower and provide opportunity for under served kids and families. The Foundation aims to be a catalyst for positive change in Carmelo’s home communities andto understand these areas and their changing needs.
