Interesting Tidbit: She has a school named after her (1997) formerly Franklin School, now the Whitney E. Houston School of Creative and Performing Arts in her hometown of East Orange, New Jersey.

Whitney Houston was born in Newark, New Jersey to gospel singer Cissy Houston and business manager John Houston. When she was younger, Whitney used to tour with her mother, who sang back up for Elvis Presley, along with cousins Dionne Warwick and Dee Dee Warwick and godmother Aretha Franklin. Whitney is reportedly working on a new album tentatively titled “Undefeated”; Undefeated will be Whitney’s seventh album due out in 2009.

    I mean I wouldn’t want to tell you how to run your site but why would she be considered a featured mom? Someone who shows their child that doing drugs and acting crazy is cool doesn’t sound like they should be featured haha.

    she is a mom tho…and she has a right to recover from downs as well….I m praying for that woman….btw…You can tell it´s her on the kid-picture…very beautifull girl and later on woman
