Here is a picture of a pregnant Jill Scott as she answered questions during an HBO panel for “The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency”, at the Television Critics Association winter press tour in Los Angeles on January 9, 2009. While promoting her new HBO series, Jill announced that she spent her first trimester in Botswana where the series was filmed.
The first trimester I spent in Botswana,” said the star, who is due April 25. “That was one of the biggest challenges of my life. First trimester! You’re sick every morning. It was seven hours time difference, the heat, the bugs, the 14 hour days.
Jill Scott is engaged to drummer Lil’ John Roberts.

I’ve always thought that Jill was a very attractive woman (heavy or otherwise), but that natural (afro) just doesn’t do anything for her! Maybe if she were to put some gel in it (that’s what i do), it would spruce it up. Her hair was very flattering in those episodes of “girlfriends”.

Amy she may be growing it back from her last do with the sides and back shaded and loc extentions. I brought a pack of that hair just to try it out and it was some serious work to get that stuff out LOL so had to decide if I wanted to commit to locking before doing them or else there wouldn’t be any getting these things out.
I think this looks cute on her too though, she’s a lil comfortable right now LOL so I wonder if it’s her positioning that’s taking away from from it.

Her hair looks great - she is a beautiful woman an in this day and age of airbrushing and weaves, it’s nice to see someone wearing their hair like that.

jill’s body is going through many changes and at 36 pregnanncy is a little harder than if you’re in your 20 believe me i know. besides jill gives us big girls hope and her style has mostly been afrocentric. Good luck and god bless jill.
