Via TMZ:50 Cent’s baby mama won’t be able to take half his [money], a judge just ruled in New York.
A Supreme Court judge just dismissed Shaniqua Tompkins’ claim to half the rapper’s assets, which she had estimated at $50 million. Tompkins is the mama of Fitty’s 11-year-old son.
The judge said in her judgment the relationship was “an unfortunate tale of a love relationship gone sour.” Both sides had filed memorable affidavits detailing their pillow talk — she claimed 50 promised to take care of her “for life.”
Didn’t work for Babymama, but her lawyer says he could file an appeal.
Brett Kimmel, 50 Cent’s attorney, tells TMZ, “Ms. Tompkins’s claims pertaining to a $50 million verbal contract were entirely frivolous. In dismissing the case before trial, the court is sending a clear message. This is a complete and total victory for 50.” 50 himself added, “I’m very thankful for this decision. I knew that once the facts were heard that justice would prevail. I hope now that we can put this behind us and move forward with our lives.”

Pretty sure 50 cent would have taken care of the mother of his son..probably for life..but she just won’t be quiet…I remember in a interview he talked about his baby momma in a loving way..now she is being greedy and putting him out like that in public..when will the baby mommas learn..your the baby momma..for a reason..not wifey.

Side Bar: That’s why you don’t look at stars like Halle & Gabe, Angie & Brad, etc family life. And start thinking its ok to live with some one and have kids without marriage. Because these women can leave the relationship and not look back. Because they have their own money. Marriage is a business deal between two people. If someone ends that deal. The parent with the kids have legal rights. Legal rights that girlfriends just don’t have. When you’re a girlfriend with his kid. You have the right to get “help” with supporting the kid….period. Its not about winning the lotto. Its about getting help with household bills. He shouldn’t have to pay for her life style until the kid untils 18. He is supposed to be a co-parent not an ATM.

If he wanted her to have half of his money he would have married her. With marriage she would have been legally entitled to half. The fact that he didn’t marry her should let her know (if he told her she was getting half) he didn’t mean it.

I think it is important for us all to remember that money talks and that is the only reason 50 Cent won. We are not in the situtation with these people and you never know what really went on. We all seem to lose sight of who and what this is really about, the child(ren) being affected. The child must live as that parent does, in this case 50 Cent. Her angle may have been “wrong” but in the end no one can tell her how to fight to provide for her child. These women are not always being prohos, remember, she was there in the beginning, they really do want to see their children recieving what they would if they were in a relationship with that person. Marriage or not, a relationship is binding. Oral agreements are binding. Judges are not being unfair in most cases with amounts they award to these mothers, they are making sure that provision is granted for the child(ren). 50 Cent is not innocent in this and when a man doesn’t respect the mother of his child, I don’t respect him, I don’t care who it is or what the situation. Women need to start respecting themselves enough to NOT be looking for a meal ticket and to want a mate in their lives, not a paycheck. I feel bad for the child who is being dragged into this fight between TWO adults acting immaturely and irresponsibly. Don’t blame one person, if you are going to comment, look at the whole picture and blame both people or don’t say anything at all.
