T.I.: I WILL MISS MY FAMILY WHEN I AM GONE

T.I. with youngest son Major in new MTV reality series

“My kids, my family, my friends, my house, my cars, my food my life,” these are just a few of the things that rapper T.I. will be missing once he is incarcerated in March 2009.

In March, the rapper will be going to jail for one year, initially a 30 year sentence that was reduced as long as T.I. does 1000 hours of community service by March.

At a screening of his new MTV reality show,”Road to Redemption”, T.I. admitted that he is “anxious to move forward and put this behind [him],” but his fiancee Tameka Cottle and his six kids “have got his back” so he isn’t so worried.

T.I. adds, “My kids are smart they know what is going on. They know the difference between their Daddy and other peoples Daddy’s so it was never hard to explain to them.”

T.I.’s  new MTV reality show, “Road to Redemption,” will debut on February 10.

I’m looking forward to seeing his show. I do feel bad for his kids.. but not him! He should’ve made better decisions!

He would never have to miss all the things he’s talking about missing if he just would have obeyed the law. What’s so hard about that?? I have ZERO sympathy for him.

I am mad that when people do something wrong and go to jail they get something out of it a tv show come one. I could care less if he was in there for life

I’m a little “ignorant” about SOME current affairs: what did this guy do that he’s going to jail for? I haven’t heard yet…can someone please enlighten me? Thanks!

Ada: Gun possession. T.I. as a ex-con is not supposed to have guns, and he did and so it violated his parole and now he has to go serve his sentence. I do have sympathy for him, people make mistakes, you guys. I think a lot of this is stuff he did as a young man catching up with him (like the reason he was on parole in the first place, and the reason he needed a gun). The important thing is he’s supposedly trying to make amends for it. This show is supposedly to show kids what can happen if you do stupid things like he did. This is awful for the kids that their dad is going to be away for a whole year. He’s going to miss a whole lot, especially with Major, the first year of a kids life is when most of the milestones are. I just hope none of these kids resent their dad for this, especially the oldest two boys.
