JUDGE ORDERS RAPPER T.I. TO PAY MORE CHILD SUPPORT
Rapper T.I. a.k.a Clifford Harris, has been ordered to pay more child support to the mother of his two sons, Lashon Dixon.
On Wednesday(February 25th, 2009), the Superior Court judge ordered the rapper to increase payment from just over $3,000 to $5,000 a month to LaShon. In addition, the rapper is required to pay half of the boys extracurricular activities and all their medical expenses. He isn’t required, however, to pay for Domani,7, and Messiah,9, to attend Private school.
Lashon and T.I. have joint custody of the boys; Dixon has primary physical custody and T.I. gets visitation every other weekend. Lashon is said to be ”very grateful” for the judge’s decision and called it “a complete victory.”
T.I. has six children in all.

Shoot, she isn’t getting double digits a month like Mel B (who only has 1 child by Eddie), Kim Porter or Kimora. What this woman is getting in a year, they clear in two months. While I can’t stand lazy, gold-digging women as much as the next person, you can’t tell me that $60,000 a year is going to hurt this man. And yes he is going to jail but he just put out his SIXTH album in Sept of last year and it has already sold close to 2 mil copies. That’s his sixth album alone. Not to mention what he makes on his tours, and he has also done films and makes beats for other folk in the music biz. $60,000 is probably nothing to him.
Now should she go out and get a job??? Maybe, maybe not. She can better serve her children by being in the house, depending on what she does with her time. You know, people work hard and try to make it so that they can give themselves and their children the BEST life, not just a good life. So just man up and give the dang girl the money.

Whuteva D I wouldn’t say the kids shouldn’t enjoy a piece of their parents lifestyle but not someone who simply chose to lay on her back and have kids. She want that level of life she needs to get that level of career, don’t matter what others are getting same goes for them.
And this sort of thing happens with every day dads too, only difference is they can’t always afford it. Not talking about giving within reason, speaking on judges that award moms in excess.

Yeah, she chose to lay on her back and have kids by herself. Or she trapped him. Twice. Yeah, yeah that’s it. TI played an equal part in having these two boys.
I don’t feel sorry for these men, “everyday” or celebrity. Most of these men have children out of wed-lock and leave the home but don’t want to provide for these kids as if they would if they were still in the same home. But their children with the ‘chic of the moment’ gets the full benefit(luxury) of him being in the home. And the ‘chic of the moments’ other kids also get that benefit. But the ‘I ain’t wit yo momma no mo’ kids just get their needs takin care of and the luxury when they are with the father only. No, if the father provides luxury for one child 24/7 then he needs to do it for every child. If you don’t want to support two households, then stop having kids by two and three different women.
And you can call her a golddigger, but you don’t know this woman, her true intentions, or her situation. What you do know is that TI is more than able to pay her $60,000 a year for his children’s care.

I think its a shame the court ordered T.I. to pay this Dixon chick more $$ in child support. Her ass is LAZY and she don’t WANT to work! She just wants to live as HIGH on the hog as she possibly can off of T.I.’s money, while she sits on her behind all day and does “whatever”. WHAT’S WRONG WITH OUR LEGAL SYSTEM ???
I get $500 a month in child support, until my son turns 18. What am I gonna do after he turns 18…re-marry his dad or some other man? NO…I’m going to NURSING SCHOOL RIGHT NOW to prepare myself for the future, so that I don’t have to rely on welfare NOR (God forbid) my son to take care of me in my “later years”, because his momma was to LAZY to do anything except live off of child support for 10+ years.
Ms. Dixon needs to think about where the money is going to come from when her boys turn 18, and the hand-outs from T.I. STOP !!!

I just don’t understand why celebrity’s or anyone for matter that take care of their kids have to have a dollar amount set. If they are providing for their kids their should be no issues. Now if they were deadbeats then I could understand. Some women need to get up and get a job and stop trying to live off child support alone. I think $3000 was enough. That’s more than my paycheck and I’m surviving and taking care of my family.

If he can afford it, oh well. Women need to stop having babies so darn fast. Especially if the guy isn’t married to you, or wont marry you. That should tell you something right then. BIRTH CONTROL has been out for sometime now get a clue, use it. Stop depending on men to give you money. Especially if he made it big,when he wasn’t with you. Stop trying to hold on to a man by getting pregnant. Women use you brain, please. in ga you can petition the court every 24 months for an increase in child support. the court uses a formula based on the MOTHER and the FATHERs income to determine the amount to be paid.
