Singer/actor Tyrese Gibson has been ordered to pay $65,000 to his estranged wife Norma in a divorce settlement. In addtion, Tyrese must pay $6,230 a month in support, $2,730 to cover her rent and $800 towards her car payments in a temporary ruling made by a U.S. judge on March 2nd
Tyrese filed for divorce from Norma in January of this year, just ten months after marriage. Norma claims that during that time, Tyrese was not there for their daughter Shayla, now 19 months old. Although this may be a victorious for the soon-to- be single mom, Tmz. com is reporting that Norma will soon contest the couple’s prenup agreement.

More of these wives need to get tough. I think it is an incentive for men to consider the consequences when they take on the responsibility of marriage. Good for her. Independence and education doesn’t negate responsibility from an ex. He danced to the music and she has to continue to dance on the stage that was given her. Stop hating!

This woman needs to get a permanent visa (either that or leave), a job, and take control of her own life, pay her own bills, and stop depending on her daughter’s money.
She can do both and still expect his payments. It’s called divorce.

They were having issues before she had their baby. Police was at their house a while back. He should have known better. These men get so hung up on looks & pay for it in the end. I’m sure he wasn’t a total angel either. I’m still puzzled at why the man should pay rent & car notes! That’s really going to make her sit on her a$$. “In some cases” the court need to start flipping the script on these women going above & beyond. If you want to play completely helpless, the father should get most of the custody. I bet that will shut some of these women down that only have children so that they can be taken care of.
Get Real! Most of the exs don’t want the children. They are little more than baggage except when they want photo ops. He could have filed for custody…he had the money. Flip the script? He’ll go right out and marry again and sire more children. Is he supposed to be able to just walk away with child support. That’s what the average man does and he’s not the average man. If you can’t play with the big dogs then stay on the porch.
the money Tyrese is giving her now should be enough come on its just 1 child it was her fault for getting into the marriage with no ends chill out dont be so greedy i hate when a couple ends it one of the spouses wanna break the other spouse down so they cant move on properly.
