Singer Beyonce Knowles has been tapped to do a commercial for the new Nintendo DSi game Rhythm Heaven (in stores April 5) . Watch below as she and her nephew Julez,4, have fun with the game.
In response to spending time with her nephew Julez, the singer says, “Whenever I have downtime, I want to have the downtime with him, so this is very true to my real life. It’s great to kinda share a little piece of something so intimate with everyone.” Watch Video..

I believe that people should have children when they want them not because someone else wants them to. It is that indivdual who will have to put in the quality time with the child. If a person does not have that kind of time to give a child, he or she should not bring a person into this already bewildered world. Thank you all very much.
Whenever I see the commercial I just see Beyonce…I didnt even know the little boy was in it.They had the camera zoomed in on Beyonce so you cant see the little boy.
yeah, i believe people have no clue who solange is, but they probably have no clue who juelz is either, and leaving his momma out of the commercial, whether beyonce is a spokeperson or not, is not right. maybe more people would be exposed to solange if she was in the commercial…on a related note, they couldn’t find some other black woman to do the commercial? there are a lot of other talents out there that are black and are not being used to their full potential, i am so tired of seeing the same old people doing all these different roles when there are soooo many others to choose from. i know beyonce is talented and i’m not knocking that, but does she have to do EVERYTHING?
Beyonce is the spokesperson for the game, not Solange. Juelz likes games, Bee wanted it to seem realistic, just like she said. She’s spending her downtime playing a video game with her nephew.
Maybe they just want aunts??? In the commercial with the woman from friends they used her niece instead of her son.
Or maybe they chose Beyonce because she is the most recognizable. Believe it or not, many have no clue who Solange is.

I would hope they at LEAST asked her if she wanted to be in it w/ Beyonce (or just her and Daniel). It would be rude of them not to IMO.
B/c I would be slightly offended if they [the producers, publicist, or whoever] came to to me and asked to use MY child to make a commercial with my SISTER with no regard to me!

i know she’s his aunt, and i know she’s more recognizeable as a celebrity, but my only question is…why didn’t they have his mommy do the commercial with him? i’m slightly offended. i mean, there’s nothing wrong with beyonce doing the commercial, she IS his aunt, but couldn’t they have at least put solange in it too? just asking…
