BEYONCE: I PRAY TO HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH MY “DAUGHTER”

Singer Beyonce is heating up the movie screens with her new film “Obsessed” . The singer/actress recently sat down with Larry King to discuss her new film, her music, as well as her life and career.
In the film Obsessed, Beyonce plays the role of a mother and a wife. In real life, Beyonce is married (to rap mogul JayZ) with no children, but she hopes to one day be a mother.
She tells Larry King, “I have the best mother in the world and my mother is literally my best friend. I respect her so much.. Of course I want to be a mother and i only pray that my relationship with my daughter is like the relationship i have with my mother.”
But the award-winning star is in no rush to have kids right now: “I do feel like i have so many things to accomplish. ”
So what more does the 27-year-old hope to accomplish? She wants to be a Broadway star!
“It’s my ideal job,” Knowles told Reuters, while promoting “Obsessed,” in which she plays a wife who takes on her husband’s stalker.
”I’ll be able to go to the theater every day and drop my kids off and maybe make some food — maybe I’ll know how to cook by then — and then go do what I love and have some normalcy and have a regular schedule.”

@Suitepuma – Speak for yourself girl! Personally I would love to see Bey on Broadway doing her thing. She’s the ultimate performer so I know she would give a great show every night. It’s always nice to hear how she talks about her mother. Can’t wait for her and Jay to have some little ones.

Beyonce’s a GREAT performer, I’ll give her that but being able to sing well should never have to compensate for TERRIBLE acting.
Let’s face it… she’s TERRIBLE and Broadway requires some acting abilities.
I guess I’m mad that I learned, from reading MTO, she might be getting another acting role. It just really pisses me off that we have TALENTED Black actresses and SHE is eating up roles that could have been played by someone who can carry it.
Any movie/play etc she plays in is one less that I can actually watch

I agree with you on that singers should just be singers, but I don’t think that movie would have ranked in alot of money if Beyonce wasn’t in it.
The movie was boring and predictable, but with Beyonce in it it made it worth while to watch, in my opinion.

Bradway? please singing is her talent. But acting is required in broadway and she does not aquire that skill even though her movie is doing well A.K.A there was no comp anyways. A lot of people went to see idris not her. Wait, how does she know that she’s gonna have a daughter anyways?

look beyonce is awesome with singing and she is going on tour. now she wants to do acting. wow. then she wants to go on broadway. then she wants to become a mother. thats alot of stuff shes gonna be doing. trust me i asked someone who had 4 children and when she had her first baby she said it hirt ( because she had seasection ) . but i think Beyonce is gonna have beautiful children. but its gnna be hard work. then she said that she will have an awesome realationship w/ her daughter she doesnt know if she’s gonna have a daughter or not.Or maybe she’s hiding something!!!!!!! I think she’s a good singer, and she has every right to act be it broadway etc., BUT… it would be nice to let others have the chance to do some of these things as well. It just seems like (to me) she’s taking up many of the good entertainment jobs. Also, (in my opinion ofcourse) I’ve seen a couple of films with her in them… and she doesn’t have a broad range as far as acting. She’s like Ashton Kutcher (shudder) who is “one way” in every movie he’s done. I honestly think Angela Basset would have been much more realistic in Obsessed.

How will she explain to her daughter the way in which a woman should carry herself. She always gives God the credit for her success. I can’t help but wonder what God does she serve. The one in the Bible would not agree with a woman behaving like she does in in her concerts. The Bible says that a christian woman is to be chaste. Chaste she is not.
