Why don’t people ever get married first?… Arghhhh

    I like that dress btw

I was thinking the same thing. Does that even exist anymore? Watch out because the “You don’t have to be married to get knocked up” crowd will come out in full force.

Jennifer really looks good, and they make a cute couple.

I don’t think people today like making serious commitments to each other.

As if producing a LIFE isn’t making a commitment. I here that all the time…”he’s not husband material” or “we’re not ready”. But he’s FATHER material? Hmmmmm….idiots.

WOW!!! She looks amazing. She doesn’t look different, but she looks like she’s matured in her looks(if that’s understandable). She just looks so grown-up right her. Beautiful pictures. Wish her and her fiance the best.

She reminds me of a much younger Tisha Campbell in that first picture… guess that is why they hired her to play her daughter in Wife and Kids?

Ugh would be stop with this “getting married before baby” thing! Some people don’t think that way. You know the phrase “to each their own” (some stuff like that). If you want to be married before you have a child or you want your child to be married before they have one, you do your best to do that. Smh…

So if they are pregnant, congrats to them! =D And she is still beautiful.

That is exactly why the black community is in the state we are in. There are so many baby daddies and momma’s out there and no lasting relationships. God knew best when he sanctified marriage,

Thank you, Kiki. Some people wouldn’t have a clue if it bit them in their “having babies out of wedlock” behind.

So many people today are *afraid* to have morals and/or judge others base on their own morals…

Its ashame really because marriage and children done the right way can have the *best* results

I think the state we’re in is because of holier than thou people, because we’re killing each other, because we’re in more jails than in colleges, and parents hand their children to be raised by teachers/television/video game/other people, not because you produce a child outside of marriage.

Sadly, this is the way things are now. I got married at 19 and you wouldn’t believe how my family treated me a lot of them stop talking to me but my sister had a baby out of wedlock and every one was excited. But she and her fiance make a beautiful couple and maybe the will get married before the baby comes.

Erika, I don’t understand the thinking of people, especially in the black community. It appears that black folks (I don’t know if you are black or not) have such a viceral attitude toward marriage. I think out-of-wedlock births are so commonplace that people think it’s the “norm” instead of the other way around. You can tell the hostility people have when you mention the outrageous notion of getting married before having children.

Anyway, people have to live by their own values and in the long-run, it’s their lives not mine. I don’t think people that play house are bad people at all, I just think some things are backwards. JMO. I will always stand by my opinion. You did it the right way.

It’s not just people that aren’t getting married nowadays. Besides, they’re both grown and can live their lives anyway they choose.

    Congrats to Jennifer if true!

But, I really and truly hope that people stop treating marriage as an afterthought!

Where is the sanctity of marriage these days? I’m very much a traditionalist and I have lived my life by courtship, marriage, and then parenthood (which we are currently transitioning into)

I’m not knocking their choices and I hope they last and sustain “Hollywood”

Hi I am 41 – BA, MBA and Ph.D. and we have been in a committed relationship for seven years. I am a home owner and my man is in the process of buying us a home together. We have never lived together. We did not put our careers or education first but we simply were not ready to get married until now. We are planning our wedding now but also trying to start our family at the same time. Because of some health challenges I had in the past we have to fast track it. Plus, at our age, we decided not to wait any longer. With God’s blessing I hope to be pregnant soon. Since I do not want a fall wedding, I will most likely be pregnant on purpose when we marry. We can afford the baby, love God and hope our family, friends and strangers won’t judge us for our choice. Our relationship is strong and has lasted longer than some marriages. I am happy for Jen and her beau – babies are a blessing

To each his own. I believe that marriage should precede pregnancy, then again, I also believe that people should be married BEFORE they have sexual relations. Do I condemn those who have sex, or get pregnant before they are married? No.

Everyone has their own life to lead. We are at times quick to judge others because they do not live up to the moral standards of the Bible. Well, newsflash, many of us who judge others because of that, also fail in other ways. If no sin is greater than the other, then having pre-marital sex would be on the same level as telling a lie. Either way, we must understand where we are at fault and seek forgiveness for sin instead of lying to ourselves, or getting what we want to get from the Bible to suit our needs.

If you don’t believe in God, then that’s on you also. It’s your life, and if that’s the chance you want to take, so be it.

Either way, having a child is a beautiful gift. There are many out there who cannot have children, and there are those who choose to take away their children’s chance at living because of convenience. I’m happy that Jennifer and her fiance made the choice to have their child, who knows what wonderful future lies ahead for their baby!

If you are in uncomfortable position and have got no cash to get out from that, you would need to take the business loans. Just because it would help you unquestionably. I get credit loan every time I need and feel myself fine just because of this.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

Thanks for this article. I would also like to convey that it can be hard if you find yourself in school and merely starting out to initiate a long credit rating. There are many scholars who are simply trying to make it through and have a long or positive credit history can often be a difficult thing to have.
