AUDIO: LALA VAZQUEZ DOESN’T WANT ANYMORE KIDS + TALKS ABOUT WEDDING
Former MTV VJ Lala Vazquez says that she adores her two-year-old son Kiyan Anthony. In a new audio with media personality Egypt, Lala talks about Kiyan and the “terrible twos”, her new show on VH1, and why she is planning not to have any more kids.
Lala says, “I am not going to have anymore kids. I don’t want anymore kids. My reason is not for the delivery; my delivery was smooth. My reason is because i had a very very tough pregnancy. I had Hyperemesis which is a term for extreme morning sickness. Could you imagine throwing up nine to twelve times a day for nine months? Yeah, I really thought my my life was over…that scared me so bad and i don’t know if i can put myself in that situation again.”
Lala also talks about her upcoming nuptials. She and NBA player Carmelo Anthony will be getting married “sooner than later”

I just love Lala. She seems so down to earth and real. Her and Melo’s son is just adorable. I was rolling when she was talking about going through the “terrible twos” with her little man, and his talking loud. It’ll be nice when her and Melo finally tie the knot. Great interview.

I suffered from HG myself, three times. It’s a horrible illness, so I an totally understand where she’s coming from.

I also suffered from HG during both of my pregnancies and they were nightmares. Not only thought I was going to die but I wanted to! The only reason why I had my second child is because my husband was such an awesome stepather to my first born. I thought I would try again and maybe not get it again but I did…even worse. For those women who suffer from HG please talk about it and get the word out! It is so misunderstood.

I was going to say Oh no, not that kind of woman.But she has a great reason to now want to BIRTH another one. She can always use a surrogate to carry a baby for her.

MAN wow any reason is a good enough reason BUT WOW i coudnt not go through that . more power to her ..her family is beautiful. I couldnt even get passed throwin up in my first 2 months when i was pregnant with my son and she did it every day WOW ! but yeah I know what she feelin like now my son turned 2 in March and omg he off the walls//lol EVEN MORE POWER TO HER.

I used to think it was selfish to have only one kid, I would say to myself, kids deserve to grow up with siblings, thank God for cousins because being pregnant with my first child, it is almost an impossibility that I would do it again. The first pregnancy is always the worst because you never know what to expect. Its been said that the second and third pregnancies get better but i feel you LaLa on the physical wear and tear on the body.

I totally understand and respect her decision, myself being
an OB RN have heard many stories of this condition from my
patients and not only is it an awful feeling but you do
have to be hospitalized because it can be quite serious if
electrolytes get way outta balance.

I thought they were already married shows what I know. And I need a new OB/GYN for sure if I have anymore kids because I suffered the same and had no clue there was a name for it! Thought it was the norm for me as I’m a very squeemish person as it is.
Glad she spoke on this and mos def understand her not wanting to go through this again. I remember even saying to a doctor that I needed to stop working because of this and she told me I was fine, I did anyway judging by my own body, doing hair all day and having to excuse myself to vomit was not the business. Wish I knew this then but glad to know now.

I’ve never heard of that type of illness before, but i guess you learn something new everyday. Hopefully Lala and Melo will tie the knot,they have a beautiful family. I think it is a good idea to not rush into marriage, so more power to them.

I’m 5 months pregnant with my first and I have HG too. It’s been awful, I haven’t been able to work or do anything. I’m miserable. It’s better than it was in the beginning of the pregnancy but it’s still bad. I spent time in the hospital as well, being dehydrated, and they prescribed Reglan but it’s hit or miss. I always wanted to have at least 1 more child as well, but I’m not sure my body can handle it. Thanks to Lala for speaking up about it. It’s not just typical morning sickness…it is SO MUCH WORSE.

I feel where Lala is coming from, I too suffered with that pregnancy illness from beginning to end. I also stated that I didnt want anymore kids as well, although I do want more children now , but as I think about it I was extremely nauseous all day everyday vomitting threw my nose!! It was an absolutely horrible experience but my daughter was a true blessing! She is now 6yrs old.
The weight of the child when they are born has nothing to do with the illness unless they are born premature, my daughter was born @ 7lbs 9 oz & 22 inches long.
Hopefully Lala & Carmelo do get married, they are a beautiful couple & lil Kiyan is absolutely adorable!! Maybe one day Lala will reconsider & give lil Kiyan a sibling………… Love You Lala!!
