Ziggy Marley is bringing music to the LITTLE people! He is releasing his first children’s album and has invited some family and pretty cool friends to join him on it. Jack Johnson, Laurie Berkner, Elizabeth Mitchell and Jamie Lee Curtis are only a few of the artists featured on the CD Family Time, in stores May 5th. In addition to some well known classics like “This Train” and “Hold Him Joe”, Ziggy has written many original songs on this release which are endearing tributes to his family with many sage words of wisdom for kids.
This is what Ziggy had to say about his latest album: “Growing up, music was an important part of my childhood. I see it being just as important in my children and all children’s growth and development, to help them grow with open minds and open hearts… This record represents my daily family life and is inspired by my three-year-old daughter Judah and baby Gideon. It was a joy to make and opened up new avenues in my creativity.”
In addition to his skills as a singer, songwriter and producer, Ziggy founded U.R.G.E. (Unlimited Resources Giving Enlightenment), a non-profit organization that benefits a wide range of charitable children’s causes in Jamaica, Ethiopia and other developing nations. Proceeds from the sale of Family Time will benefit Chepstowe Basic School in Port Antonio, Jamaica.

I’ve been following the Marley’s ever since I was 6-years-old. I own a number of Bob Marley records and all but 2 of his CD’s. I’d love to have Ziggy Marley added to my collection since I can’t remember the last time I purchased a record/CD.
I would love to have his Cd so I can play it to my baby daughter to be.
Growing up music was a big part in my life, from jazz, to hip hop, to rock and roll. I would like for my daughter to have the same options growing up. Having clean, cultural music is a priority. Thats is why I should have Ziggy’s CD!

Ziggy Marley embodies positivity. He’s always smiling and creating good music for ALL to enjoy. I’m sure his new CD “Family Time” will send out nothing but GOOD vibes! I work in a daycare where many of our children are there 9+ hours. We are like a family in many ways. It would be so cool to be able to share this new Cd with them. =)
I would love to have the CD for my, my son, and my newborn that is on his way. I am trying to teach my son how to be a big brother and the importance of family. I think this CD will fit right in!
I like to surround my family with cultural music. Music from the islands including reggae, soca, compa and zouk that you don’t find in US mainstream. This would be a treat!

listening to music from Bob Marley,
Damian, Marley, Ziggy, and Julian.
After listening to music from the Marley
family my entire life has changed. With
their messages of Peace, Love, Truth, Equality
and Knowledge of self. I know i will love
this album too.
I’m excited about the new CD. Music is one of the ways that I connect with my children. We enjoy artistic expression. I can’t wait for them to experience Ziggy.

Ever since I was in Jr. High School I have always loved Bob Marley music. I have several of his CD’s and now would love to have the CD that he has done for Children. Now that I have children of my own it would be a great way to expose them to Bob Marley Music. Very excited about this CD. Cant wait to hear it.

I would like a Copy to send to Jamaica’s House Basic School in Kingston, where my daughter is attending PREK. I am sure they can use it in the music class or movement class.
I don’t have any idea if they have a radio/cd player to play it though.
I have’nt had any luck finding the CD in local stores and have serched since reading about Ziggy in a airplane magazine. I plan on giving it to my hispanic nephew whom was adopted into a caucasion family. I want to share my love of music and different cultures with him. He is 2 1/2 years old.
