How do you know their relationships are unstable do u personally know them??? NO, and marriage does not equal stability hun. You can be married today and divorced tommorow. I think it’s good that Monica and LaLa are taking time to make sure marriage is what they really want instead of doing it because “Its the right thing today” this way their marriage’s have good odds to last.

Let’s ease up on Monica. She and this man have been together almost 9 yrs they have 2 beautiful sons. You don’t see Monica going to jail on drugs drunk in the club half naked. There is no sex tape or nudie pics floating around on Mo. She seems to spend alot of time with her boys How can we throw her under the bus for having 2 kids with the same man she’s been in love with for 9 yrs? Do we throw Hailey under the bus for having a baby with an out of work model? We making excuses for Alicia knowing she played the part of the misstress and now Swizz beats wife about to become a single mom.Monica and Rockos kids are not on our tax time let them be happy.

romelo and lil rocko are soooooooooo cute. the picture with the puppy is priceless. also to quickly address some peoples issues, i say live and let live. black people love to judge but you dont see the white media circuits giving light to the unneccesary parts of celebrities lives. for example gene simmons (from kiss) and shannon tweed have been together 26 years 2 kids and no marriage, farrah fawcette and ryan oneal 31 years and one child no marriage, goldie hawn and kirk russelle 1 child and 25 years no marriage. you ever think ALL THESE COUPLES MAY JUST BE HAPPY??the reason you hear nothing of it is because they know how to get money, motivate and love one another. not saying that whites are perfect nor are they better than us,but i notice they only report the good or the really bad (like their artist drunk and on drugs) and thats to be expected, but WE enjoy finding things to make each other look bad and highlighting the negative. when i see these photos i see love, patience, family and pure black beauty and i LOVE it

They have such a beatiful family and appear to be good parents. It’s nobody’s business if they get married or not (although i think that is the right thing to do). And Rocko needs to stop screwing up his face like that.

I don’t care about Monica not being married that’s not my business, but the reason that people judge her and other black women in her position and not white celebs is because there is not a trend in the white community of unwed single mothers. 70% of black kids are born out of wedlock which is horrific. Also most of the time when white women in Hollywood aren’t married it is because both the man and woman don’t want to get married but with black celebs it’s usually just the man who doesn’t want to get married.
Oh! I always thought that it was because shes been “engaged” for along time and still hasn’t gone down the alter. Which would make more sense not because shes black. *shrugs* Idk.
okay @damn shame but who knows if thats the case with monica and rocko. hes the one on stage on you tube shouting her out as fiance and then later interviewed with rolling out tv saying that HE was planning for the wedding to be soon. and that wasnt long ago so people are making something an issue that doesnt seem to be one for them. there are tons of white women who arent married and the statistic for them has raised over 40% in the last two years. but honestly they started this trend if you wanna call it that. i call it a choice. here are a few examples long before monicas time. goldie hawn and kirk russell 30 years 1 child NO WEDDING, gene simmons and shannon tweed who openly asks him to marry her 26 years 2 kids NO WEDDING, ryan oneal and farrah fawcette 32 years 1 child NO WEDDING and the list goes on and on. i personally feel its not for everyone. but the bible says thats the correct order and for those who are religious they sometimes ONLY do it for that reason. monica clearly loves her children and so does he. there are photos on SR.com and they still have that we just met love and affection after 9 years (monica said it on v103) so they have done something right. at least when they take it to the alter they will last. the children look healthy and happy and they are clearly her main focus. that gets my FULL respect. blessings to him

I luv me some Monica…& she know she loves her a thug (or thug image). If her relationship works for her, hey. We all would like to do things by the book but it doesn’t always work out as planned. Growning up I wanted to marry Michael Jackson (or a wealthy man), have at least (3) children, & be the perfect housewife with no worries (lol). Didn’t quite work out that way. I’m married to a wonderful man but we work hard to survive & maintain our marriage. Not the picture perfect life I fantasized about as a child.
I agree with marriage doesn’t mean it will hold a relationship together. Love, communication, hard work & commitment does that.
You never know what’s going on behind closed doors. I understand the numbers are higher for black unmarried women but I’ve heard of white couples staying together for the sake of their children or business reasons. Completely unhappy, other relationships outside of the home or even sleeping in different rooms/beds. When their children go away to college or grow up they suddenly divorce. Grown or not the kids are looking like what happened. Thinking their parents were happily married. Something wrong with that picture. And in some cases people just grow apart or fall out of love.
“Some” black couples/relationships aren’t always willing to put themselves in that situation. I would rather a man be honest with me & let me know he’s not ready for marriage or whatever (give me the option to deal with it or not). Then to play with it, only to hurt our relationship down the line. No one deserves to suffer for the seek wanting the marrige verses the meaningful relationship, due to what others may think.
All I’m going to say about Monica’s relationship with Rocko (and LaLa’s with Carmelo) is that if that “little piece of paper” didn’t mean anything, she wouldn’t be walking around calling herself his fiancee. Just be his girlfriend if marriage doesn’t matter. He probably told her they’d get married and he fooled the hell out of her, saying, “It’s coming, just wait.” I’ll be daggone if I’m with a man for years upon years, have even ONE child with him, and I’m wearing a ring that’s apparently nothing but decoration. Something’s gotta give.
But anyway. I’m in love with little Romello’s haircut. Usually the baby’s hair is really short or long, but he has a little style going on. Adorable! He looks just like his ma to me. And Lil Rock looks like their dad. Cute family.

monicas not the only one that said she was rockos fiance, actually rocko said it first and did it to a PACKED crowd at his concert with rick ross. so it seems to me hes just as proud of their engagement. we cant assume it the woman because halle berry damn sure makes it clear its her. and honestly who knows she could just be saving face because the first two oh so wonderful marriages didnt work out. these two clearly love each other and by the time we finish debating could easily marry one another. the great thing is it will be because THEY want to. good luck to them. as my grandmother used to say. if we spent more time sweeping around our own front doors we wouldnt notice where other peoples trash lies. cause sometimes what appears to be bad, just aint. love them together. Jesus, these boys are cute. Im really into family so i can enjoy seeing a young couple making family a priority. Both boys are really handsome. I do LOVE the haircuts. I can see that the boys have a strong relationship with both parents. They arent just clingging to mom. when you see both parents equally play their part its truly special. I have married friends who husbands feel they work and mommies are caregivers. But i totally disagree. Our mother and father are both equally important. My dad even cooks better than my mom. lol.
