NAS RESPONDS TO KELIS
Rapper Nas has responded to his soon-to-be Ex-wife’s divorce filing. The rapper says that he is not willing to pay spousal support to his pregnant wife. In addition to denying her spousal support, Nas wants Kelis to pay her own lawyer’s fees.
Kelis, who filed for divorce on April 30th, is currently unable to work because she is just a few weeks away from giving birth. One thing is certain though: both Nas and Kelis want custody of their unborn child.

Well, from the way she is dressed in the above picture he must not have given her any money when he was married to her either. Poor thing looks likes she is wearing shoes and pants from K-Mart.
Usually men who refuse to pay for the wife’s attorney or alimony don’t really want a divorce. If he did want a divorce he would gladly pay just to get rid of her.

That type of stuff happens in the best of situations…you never know what the hell might happen! People get married and divorced all the time. Do you think that a child would change the way a person feels about another person? That baby either makes you stronger as a couple or it tears the family apart! Not surprised. It’s sad but in my line of work I come across so many men (black in particular) that don’t respect their women and their children and think it’s ok to lie down with the woman (no rubber) without thinking about the consequences.
Black men (u know who you are) you must respect your women and your children because how you treat others is a reflection of how you feel about yourselves. YOu must be responsible and consider all options before you lay down with these women.
If you dont use a rubber, you will get a baby!! I dont care who told you otherwise. Just because it feels good for the moment does not mean that there are not long term consequences.

Um Kemba they were married why would he wear a rubber? Unfortunately in these days and time marriage isn’t true “protection” however shouldn’t be a given that you have to do that with your wife!!
I don’t know the details but I’ve always had issues with spousal support. Apart from him having an affair and leaving her, there should be no such thing….and perhaps an agreed departure from the marriage where the wife needs support until she’s able to support herself again. Otherwise support the kids and dissolve the marriage.

I THINK THAT SHE SHOULD HAVE NOT FILED FOR DIVORCE UNLESS SHE CAUGHT HIM CHEATING WHICH IS PROBABLY THE CASE. DURING PREGNANCY YOUR ARE GOING THROUGH TOO MANY HORMONAL CHANGES.

Any man..be it Nas, Jay-z, or Bill Gates should want to feed the woman that is carrying their unborn child…Kellis is not the crazy gotta have the latest lv bag woman. But marriage is a business, and it has two partners.. If the business goes bad do you think you should walk away with the shoes on ur feet and that’s that?….. no way!…..we don’t really know what happened.. But she knows what’s best for her.. And if he doesn’t want to feed her because he’s upset… it kind of makes you think about the kind of environment she’s been in for the last couple of months…. but keep hope alive …. It depends on what state they were married in. If it was a community property state (ie California) then Kelis will get half of everything accumulated during the marriage. If not well I hope shes getting milkshake residuals LOL. I agree with jackjack I thinks shes going to get spousal support atleast for a little while. I heard that she did a sex tape with rapper Infared from NY and Nas has been trying to break it off with her for awhile. They say she got preggers as a last attempt to save the marraige. Sounds like Nas is having a Carmen Bryant flashback LOL. But who really knows what goes on behind closed doors, I hope everything works out for the baby.
