It’s a boy for former Family Matter’s actress Jaimee Foxworth and her boyfriend Michael Shaw. The couple welcomed their son Michael Douglas Shaw Jr. on Friday Jaimee’s rep confirms to People.com.
Michael Douglas Jr., who was 10 days overdue, weighed in at 6 lbs., 11 oz., and was 19 ¼ inches long.
“This is the best day of my life,” Foxworth expressed in a text message. “I am so excited to be a mother and I also look forward to getting back to work.”
She added, “I’ve been through a lot of pain in the past and … I now look forward to years of joy to share with my child.”
She fell off so hard and never got back up.

Like the song says, “We fall down but we get up…For a saint is just a sinner who fell down.” God is a God of a second chance. She is not the first celebrity to make this kind of mistake. Vanessa L. Williams rebounded from those nude photos. Kim Kardashian has achieved success after her sex tape. More importantly, unlike R. Kelly, she did not engage in illicit, criminal activity with an underage minor. He didn’t even get any jail time for this crime.
Therefore, Jaimee Foxworth has the right to put her past behind her and who knows, she may get a chance to act on the big or small screen, in spite of, her past. I commend Jaimee for not allowing her past sorrows to rob her of future joy.

Well said luvqtpies!!! So sad how great news like this is a que for some people to bring up her past. The same news was reported on another site and no one had nothing but great things to say about her and her new baby. We all make mistakes…who wants their past constantly being thrown in their face or every time they do something good in their life they have to be reminded of what they used to be or what they used to do. Just be happy for her and her new family.

I would like to start off with a congrats to her and her family. It takes a lot to get pregnant and to wanna keep your baby and not get rid of it, I should know I’m a mother of 2. All you haterz on here need to shut up and just keep hating. At least she can take care of hers and she won’t end up on welfare the way most of you are. She did what she did, so be it. It’s not like any of you have not done anything wrong before, wether it was for fun or you had to take care of yours. She cleaned herself up and that’s what matters most. Only God can judge you for your sins, so unless your ready to confess to the Lord, just shut the hell up.
