Actress Keke Palmer,15, attended the 34th Annual AWRT Gracie Awards Gala at The New York Marriott Marquis on June 3, 2009 in New York City. The teenager is aware that not many people approve of her show-biz dressing. Keke has said this in the past: “I just want to set the record straight, I know everyone will not like everything I wear, but a lot of thought goes behind every single outfit, trust me before I put it on Larry and Sharon Palmer have approved it ! So, please to all of my fans when you see me wear something that’s young, hip, and might show my legs off a little bit don’t freak out , I appreciate all comments the good ones and especially the bad ones , because that means you are paying attention!”
She always looks great, but she looks simply gorgeous here.
KeKe you go girl haters are going to hate no matter what. You always look gorgeous so keep doing what you do. If you look good you feel good and nobody can take that away from you.
The line about ” not many people approve of her dress” is not accurate, I recall a while back she wore a purple leather mini dress (which Ashely Tisdale had on the same dress at the MTV Movie Awards) and people , mainly older people not teenagers said she looked too grown, we have to remember that she is on a red carpet taking pictures with some of the biggest stars in Hollywood she has to look good or she will stand out as shabby and that’s not good, when I went to my homecoming dance I put on make -up and heels no big deal,and I am 16 just like Keke, to me she looks stunning always so proud of her!

IT is not a matter of hating folks…..this girl always has a ton of make up on her face that is simply not necessary and her dress of choice are usually a little too mature for her age. THAt is all, hating has nothing to do it, if people were hating they would say she was ugly or something which is obviously she is a pretty girl but her make up is always TOO overdone and her outfits are TOO mature for her. THAT IS ALL!!!!!
In this pic her make up looks fresh (FINALLY) and does not look overdone and the dress looks nice. NO one is saying for her to dress like a nun but you dont have to dress way mature for your age to stand out.
i think that in the past her dress style has been very mature.
However now at this event if you notice it dosnt look like she is wearing alot of make up. i thinks this helps her to look more like her age . which is absolutly Great.
I love her outfits and let’s face it, she’s not the first to wear stilettos, leggings or dresses that show her legs at her age! As long as she’s not bringing any babies home at her age, she’s okay in my book!!!

Keke is so beautiful! She’s definitely redefining young, black, hollywood. I’m more concerned with her perfecting her craft rather than the clothes she wears on her back. I want to see her in more movies on the big screen.
