Actor Eddie Murphy and six of his eight children attended the Los Angeles premiere of “Imagine That” at the Paramount Theater on June 6, 2009 in Los Angeles, CaliforniaIn the film, Eddie Murphy stars as Evan Danielson, father to 7-year-old daughter, Olivia, who is played by child actor Yara Shahidi.
In all, Eddie has five daughters: Bria(not pictured), Shayne , Zola, Bella , and Angel Iris Murphy Brown(not pictured), from his previous relationship with singer Melanie Brown. Eddie also has three sons: son Myles Mitchell from his previous marriage to Nicole Mitchell, and Eric Murphy and Christian Murphy from two other previous relationships.

I am going to see the movie because it is a family movie, but I don’t like the fact that he doesn’t have Angel Iris in his life.Especially after he found out that she is his. I think that is not good. She didn’t ask to be here and she shouldn’t suffer from her mothers actions.She needs her daddy just like the rest of his kids do. Some body should put some sense into his head…

Eddie children are beautiful,but i hope that he will eventually have a relationship w/his daughter Angel .Even though she has a step-father who i’m sure treats her like his own it’s still sad that her biological father doesn’t have a relationship with her.

I think Eric and Myles look like Eddie from back in the Raw days. Zola looks just like him. Bella and Shayne look just like Nichole and Christian, well he must look like him mom because I see none of Eddie in him.

Did it ever occur to you that the mother might give him the blues about seeing the baby? Some women make it so hard for the man to be a father and he would probably rather not deal with the drama and wait until the baby is older. People tend to think the father should put up with the mothers crap just to see the kid…NOT!

Mel isnt giving Eddie any blues. From day 1 Eddie disrespected Mel. Mel never said anything to the public, it was Ed who said “we dont know whose baby it is”. When Angel was born–on Ed’s birthday–he still denied her. He refused DNA testing. Only after Mel went to court & a judge ordered it did he finally comply & provide his DNA. As Mel said all along Angel was proven 2 be his daughter.
Since then it is Eddie who hasnt made the effort 2 c his youngest daughter.

I don’t see what the fuss is about Angel not being there, says he has 8 kids and 5 were there NOT 7. Don’t know if I will watch the movie I stopped being a fan following the Mel B pregnancy issue.

If Angel Iris is Eddie’s child, he needs to act like he has some good sense, and go get her and rear her with his other children. That does not make any sense to leave an innocent child out there like that away from her other siblings she should get to know. She did not ask to come here nor be apart of any of two grownups foolishness.

Eddie’s children are beautiful but Eddie is and has always been a [word omitted] To say hateful things and to deny that innocent child in public is a sucker move and disrespectful. I recently saw a picture of Nicole, Mel B and all of the children together. I have much respect for Nicole because she was the one to reach out to Mel and her daughter.
