ANIKA NONI ROSE: JENNIFER HUDSON WILL BE AN AMAZING MOM
Singer Jennifer Hudson is keeping mum about her pregnancy but her Dreamgirls’ co-star Anika Noni Rose isn’t!
“She will be a great, amazing and loving mom, “Rose told People on Monday about her pregnant friend. “Having seen her with babies myself, that baby of hers is going to have a good time and be much loved.”
Anika added, “She loves babies and now that she going to be a mother herself, this experience is going to be fun and rewarding for her. She will have no problems taking on the responsibilities.”
Jennifer, whose mother, brother and nephew were murdered last year, has had a rather rough year but Anika hopes that a new baby will bring Jennifer much needed joy.
“I just hope that with a baby that each day brings her joy and the ability to come back to her wonderful self. It’s been a harrowing year for her and I hope that she finds comfort, joy and support and that she can move forward with her new baby.”

I don’t think she’s hiding it. I mean, for most of us pregnancy is difficult to hide. Not making a public announcement is not the same as hiding it. She’s a celebrity, but she’s also a private person. I’m sure she told the people in her life who needed to know. It’s really none of the public’s business.

First, if we proclaim that we are Christians, and Jennifer does proclaim herself to be a Christian then maybe that is why she is not boasting about this pregnancy. We know that fornification is not of God and that we are not in right standing to boast about being pregnant and not married. Where is the morales of our young people today. It use to be shameful for a young unmarried woman to become pregnant and now we boast as if we are in right standing with God. You know I scatch my head and have to wonder how everything that is wrong we act like it is right and everything right we act like it is wrong. Satan is defeating us. Let’s continue to pray for how satan is continuously confusing us, deceiving us and we are following satan and his ways instead of God.
Ms., your selfrighteous tone is completely off base. Jennifer is a fully grown woman who has made her own decision carry a child. Furthermore, would God approve of her aborting the baby because it was concieved out of wed-lock? I’m simply stymied by the fact that here we are in the 21st century’s pluralistic society and religious fundamentalist fanatics like yourself choose to frown upon someone for making a decision as an adult, that will not hurt or harm anyone else. But I’m sure you have lived a perfect life in the sight of God and you definitely have a first-class ticket to the Pearly gates.

Babies are the ultimate blessing… this little cutie will be loved and bring Jennifer and David a lifetime of endless joy. I just don’t understand people saying “hiding her pregnancy”… where is it written that one has to contact the media to announce such a personal event. People are looking at this from their own viewpoint as non-celebrities… if Ms. Hudson (a very well known and appreciated celebrity) had announced this she would have been pestered her entire pregnancy by the media and their papparazzi. I’m glad she’s had some semblance of peace for the majority of her pregnancy.
That’s right. Jennifer Hudson is a babymama just like any other woman because she is not married. I am tired of the double standard in society.
