        That’s Joel in the pics.

Your can see his hair in the photos (which he recently dyed blonde), Benji is bald… Thats the only reason I know who is who. LOL

Are those PINK shoes he has on? Dad better spend more time with this kid before mom turns him into a girl. I say that because I see him with her all the time. A woman can’t teach a boy how to be a man.

I agree. He might not be bothered by it now but when he gets older he will be mortified by any picture that shows him effeminate…

shoot, I know! I have this one picture of my older brother that I hold as leverage whenever he gets on my nerves! lol

Tell that to our President then. He was raised by his mother and his far from being a girl. Many great men were raised by their mother’s only!

I wouldn’t really say that President Obama was raised by his mother…or at least not alone. His grandparents had a big hand at raising him too.

I’m not sure when his mother was re-married but I know that at 6 he was with her and his step father (so there was a male role model in his life at a young age). At 10 his mother gave him to his grandparents (again another male role model)in Hawaii and then went back to Indonesia. I know that she came back to Hawaii but I’m not sure if he then moved back with her or remained with his grandparents.

I’m not saying that great men can’t be rasied by just a mother, but President Obama was certainly not just rasied by his.

i can’t believe you said that. you just slapped all the women in the face who DID raise perfectly fine men.

some people just don’t get it.

Believe it…I said it. A woman “can” raise a male child to be a great “individual” but she “can’t” teach a boy how to be a man.

I’m sure his father is apart of his life but we see more pictures of him with mom. I’m sure dad isn’t traveling around the world with them. It’s hard being a single parent, so I’m not knocking single moms (I’ve been there). You have to compromise your time, alter schedules so that each parent has the opportunity to be apart of the child’s life. Not sure how easy that works out for celebrities.

Well, the “individual” is all that matters. If you’ve raised a great individual, regardless of whether that person is male or female, then you’ve done your job as a parent.

And I know gay men (because I’m assuming that this stigmatizing of any stereotypically “feminine” trait displayed by young boys comes from your homophobia and belief that gays don’t count as “real” men) who are better individuals and, therefore, better MEN that many of my macho straight guys acquaintances could ever hope to be. And in the long run, that’s what will count. Not how well you shoot hoops or wear the color blue.

i don’t like those shoes. but there isn’t anything wrong with lil boys wearing pink as long as it is boy clothes. my friend dresses her son in pink Ralph Lauren button downs and Polo shirts. His father doesn’t have a problem with him wearing it because his father wears pinks shirts also.

Wow it’s just a colour! They aren’t all pink there’s green in there too. I don’t see a problem personally it’s not like he’s wearing girl clothes to go with it!

So you’re letting a color define what a real man is…

The ‘pink shoes’ comments in here are very disturbing, esp. since the shoes aren’t actually pink. Look how some people are conditioned…it’s sad!

Towards the sneaker comments.. Lmao. Haha.. They are pink, orange, green, navy blue and white dunks. They are unisex sneakers sold for men and women. Wow some people I swear. You do not base sexuality on the color of ones shoe wear. Omg. Anywhoo I love solange and her son. She has great style and he always looks so happy the little jet-setter. She seems to be raising him fine.

It doesn’t matter that boys wear pink. It only matter in the US. When You watch Asian drama, you see men wear pink. They look very sexy in pink. Also in my country men wear pink and nobody says anything about it.

Why does Gay=Wrong anyway?…If he does end up to be homosexual it will not be because he wore pink shoes….that is idiotic.

Very nasty and homophobic comments here and it makes me sad. I for one would rather my son be a proud intelligent homosexual black male then a black man who has six kids by 3-4 different mothers. Or some boy thats on the corner with lots of hoes.

Someone’s sexual orientation is not an indicator that they will be a good man.
