The seats are very deep and could hold a child up to 4yrs of age. So I don't think there is anything wrong with the child, just the way the stroller seat is designed. Plus her legs are probably resting on the footrest underneath the pink blanket. I saw this stroller in the store and the seat is pretty deep.
